Software Features and Description

1. Type in search terms or restaurant names to search for restaurants to add to your bookmarks.

2. Search for restaurants near your current location, according to the current map area, or type in a location of your choice.

3. For example, notes for what dishes to try at prospective restaurants, or dishes to eat again or avoid on repeat visits.

4. Bookmark prospective restaurants, and save visited restaurants along with notes.

5. View bookmarked restaurants as pins on a map or listed in a scrolling table.

6. Yelp's terms of use require that restaurant information be updated daily.

7. Tap the Yelp icon anywhere in the app to open the restaurant listing in Yelp.

8. Add journal entries to each restaurant.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use My Restaurant Journal,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "My Restaurant Journal" » then Click "Install".
- My Restaurant Journal will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Keeps things basic and easy to use. Exactly what I was looking for when I just wanted to pull together a list of the app favorite spots and jot quick notes. Would love if they added an export or share function.

It’s great that it has a link to Yelp so you can add restaurants easily. However, you can’t filter by cuisine or location-only by “Try”, “Repeat” and “Avoid”. If you have a long list its tedious to sort through.
Add category feature please
