What is Dropover? Dropover is a utility app that simplifies the drag and drop process on Mac. It provides a storage shelf that appears when you need it and floats on top of other windows, allowing you to stash, gather, or move any draggable content without having to open side-by-side windows. The app comes with several features, including multiple shelves, quick actions, and the ability to create public links for anything.
1. Drag various kind of items onto the shelf, from files, including folders, documents, text snippets to even web images from your favourite browser.
2. From there, you can drop files onto it, create new empty shelves, reopen previous shelf, see recent uploads, open preferences and more.
3. Using Dropover couldn't be simpler: Just shake your cursor (or hold ⇧ shift during drag) and drop whatever you are dragging onto the shelf that appears nearby your cursor.
4. The shelf allows you to quickly share the content or perform operations on the files.
