Install NASM EDGE - Personal Trainers app on your Windows in 4 steps below:


  1. Download an Android emulator for PC:
    Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

  2. Install the emulator:
    On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

    • Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

    • Login to the PlayStore we just installed
    • Search for "NASM EDGE" » then Click "Install".
    • NASM EDGE - Personal Trainers will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

    I was also drawn to the app due to the larger exercise library and the cost decrease than the other training app I use. However, I am ready to quit using the app as I am very frustrated with it. First, I cannot add workouts day by day unless it’s part of a program. Then once the workout is in the program it wants me to reassign all of the workouts of said program. This then creates a new training program each time. I cannot delete previous programs. Second, once I build a workout I am unable to edit the name or the exercises in it. I tried to edit a single workout four separate times and it would not save any of the edits. Third, there needs to be a desktop component for the trainer. I am finding it extremely difficult to plan out my clients workouts from using just my phone. I want to see progress reports and be able to scroll through a workout without the app moving my exercises around. In theory, the app is great for last minute adjustments and quick workout adds, but a desktop site is much better when trying to plan more than that. Lastly, my client is also having a hard time using the app on their end as it is not intuitive for them. How can we keep our clients motivated if they are frustrated with the app?

    It’s better than it was for sure. First of all thank you for making the price reasonable. The library has gotten better but: 1) There needs to be a way for trainers to add movements that aren’t in the exercise library. Example barbell cleans and snatches. I’m sure there are more but those are 2 I ran in to when trying to program. 2) Scheduling workouts needs to be simplified. If I make custom workouts it appears they have to be part of a program. I can’t figure out how to schedule a workout with it being part of a program. Unless I make a “program” for individual workouts which is pretty inefficient. I’d love to be able to click on a calendar day, hit add workout, and just add a workout to that day. Super simple, super easy. 3) The app keeps locking up and giving me a “502” error. ANNOYING! 4) How do you program supersets and circuits?

    This app helps to simplify and organize client management and program design. As updates are added, I feel the user experience will improve which will help to improve the value. It is a bit expensive, but definitely helpful to improve your overall practice if you are a personal trainer.

    Your moving in the right direction and some great changes. Still needs improvements. Would be great if it allowed the client and the trainer to be able to record and track the weights and reps used in the weights per sets and reps. Allow the trainer to be able to record weights and reps for in person Clients will allow form progression from workouts session to to season to monitor progress. The ability to add client without email. Addition of more gym and home exercises. Thanks for the hard work on a potentially great app!
