Software Features and Description

1. In addition, we have an additional, free tool (CMT Utility) for Bamboo CTH users on the App Store that allows them to change their tablet button settings.

2. Connect my tablet is doing exactly that: It connects your Wacom (TM) tablet to your Mac and restores at least its critical functionality to be creative with Photoshop (TM) and other programmes in Monterey, Big Sur, Catalina, Mojave, HighSierra, Sierra and El Capitan.

3. Connect my tablet also allows the change of settings of the tablet buttons for Cintiq (21 upwards) and Intuos3 tablet users.

4. For others, Connect my tablet provides a tool to let you change the most important pen and tablet settings.

5. That leaves very few tablets, where pen and most important functions are already restored, but tablet buttons cannot yet be programmed.

6. Our additional utility tool (see above) allows you to save and restore them (in its first version for Bamboo CTH users only).

7. As you might have to install and de-install tablet drivers, you will have to have full admin rights on your computer.

8. For many models and macOS versions, the Wacom preference pane, and therefore most previous functionality, will be working again.

9. Also, for the oldest tablets, the Utility programme from Wacom is no longer supported in the latest macOS versions.

10. We may add further settings for change if required and feasible.

11. It was mainly useful to create backups of the preference settings.

  • Old, Dead Wacom - Resurrected On Catalina!

    By H3r0Complex (Pcmac user)

When I updated to Catalina my Wacom Bamboo CTH-470, which was working just fine in Mojave, was just dead on the new OS (I know, what a surprise). I tried different solutions (all with no success), then heard about this app. At first I was very skeptical as I was uncertain whether they were planning to or even could support older tablets on Catalina. So I sent them an email inquiring such. Their support was phenomenal. They were very responsive, and told me that they were actively working on it and the update would be out in a couple of weeks. A little over a week later, I get an email from them informing me that the update was finished - so I bought it and tried it out. In the end theres not much to say - CMT just works! It was pretty easy to setup, but you do need to read and follow the instruction prompts. It does seem a bit weird at first, but they do a very good job simplifying it. The entire process took around 15-20 minutes, and my old Bamboo is now working on Catalina. Between the great support and an app that does exactly what it says it does, I have no regrets with this purchase. A very good app made by very good developers.
  • IT WORKS !

    By LiquidSmokey (Pcmac user)

I was glad to find that the App Store has something that would get my Intuos 3 working on my new computer. It did take some steps to make it happen but it was for the best. A little suggestion for the last part of your instructions for rating it in the App Store. You may want someone to edit out something ... PLEASE tell everyone to just visit "this app" at the App Store instead of inputting the entire URL link tp copy/past into a browser. I had my Apple ID locked for security reasons by Apple and had to change my Apple ID password. I may need to check my security settings on my computer because of that. Otherwise, thanks for everything !
  • Better than I could have hoped for!

    By Fritzen (Pcmac user)

I have never had such great help and concern from a tech company. I was in a desparate deadline mode when an OS update killed my Wacom Tablet. After searching my Facebook friends for a loner, a friend mentioned seeing CMT and thought that I should try it. I bought it and after spending a while following the insructions did reconnect the tablet, but it was not having the Wacom sensitivies for real artwork. So I emailed them for assitance and I tell you. After a few email intsructions I was back in action, finished my illustration, and saved the $450 for a replacement unit! I couldn't be happier with the app My Tabletand the folks in UK on the end of the line.
  • Worked right away

    By Nulu Secundus (Pcmac user)

I’ve had a CTE-450K that has been only partially working for a long time. Despite multiple unstalls and reinstalls of the Wacom software The Tablet preferences were missing. The tablet only worked as a sort of second mouse. I found this app mentioned in an article and decided the price was worth the gamble. I thought the app didn’t work at first because none of the options changed after I installed it. But for the first time in I don’t know how long the Wacom preferrences appeared in my system preferrences again. I was able to configure my tablet and use it in digital art applications. I’m thrilled! Thank you!
