Software Features and Description

1. The FAU Research Hub is a new platform created at Florida Atlantic University for students and faculty members to make it easier for you to find and collaborate with people across six campuses.

2. Select tags that describe your project so that other members of the platform with interest in the tags that you specify will be notified as soon as you post your idea.

3. Log in with your FAUNetID, select your research interests and search through projects that you may be interested in working on.

4. Each time a new funding opportunity is uploaded, platform members will be notified based on their interest.

5. We believe in the unlimited potential of students and faculty at FAU and will keep updating Research Hub to make it easier for you to excel in your research.

6. There are many cutting-edge, exciting research projects going on throughout the university.

7. If you are a project manager and would like to add your research to the FAU Research Hub - we got you covered.

8. We made it possible for you to express your interest and apply to a project directly in the app.

9. Type in their name, or a project title and scroll through our search results.

10. If you would like to find someone on the platform (e.g., your advisor or a student) - we have a smart search.

11. For that, open the project details, fill out the motivation box and send.

Install FAU Research Hub app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using FAU Research Hub on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "FAU Research Hub"
The search will reveal the FAU Research Hub app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once FAU Research Hub is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including FAU Research Hub.
Now enjoy FAU Research Hub on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native FAU Research Hub Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use FAU Research Hub,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "FAU Research Hub" » then Click "Install".
- FAU Research Hub will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
