1. درس المرحلة الابتدائية: بمدرسة الملك فيصل الابتدائية في جدة ثم المرحلة المتوسطة في كل من مدرسة البحر الأحمر المتوسطة و مدرسة الرازي المتوسطة بعدها انتقل لدراسة المرحلة الثانوية بمعهد جدة العلمي التابع لجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية، وقد تخرج بامتياز وحصل على شهادة الجامعة (الطالب الأمثل).

2. كما قرأ القرآن على كل من الشيخ محمد حبيب الرحمن (من الباكستان)، الشيخ محمد إبراهيم شتا (من مصر) وطرفاً على الشيخ يحي عبد الرزاق الغوثاني (من سوريا) غادر المملكة العربية السعودية في ذي القعدة من عام 1435 هـ بعد أن قضى بها 33 عامًا.

3. درس على كل من العلامة الشيخ: محمد الصالح العثيمين، محمد صدقي البورنو، عبد الحميد أبوزنيد، صالح السلطان، خالد المصلح في العقيدة، الشيخ خالد الشيقح في الفقه و الشيخ عبدالرحمن الدهش في النحو.

4. أحد تلاميذ الشيخ محمد بن العثيمين وحاصل على ماجستير من جامعة الإمام وإمام مسجد اللامي في جدة سابقا.

5. ولد توفيق بن سعيد الصائغ في أسمرة بدولة إريتريا وعاش في السعودية من صغره.

6. حصل على الماجستير من جامعة أم القرى بمكة المكرمة بدرجة 98وتقديرامتياز مع التوصية بالطبع والتداول بين الجامعات.

7. حصل على الجنسية البحرينية بعد ما قامت السلطات السعودية بإبعاده.
