Install KML Collection: Import Maps app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using KML Collection on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "KML Collection"
The search will reveal the KML Collection: Import Maps app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once KML Collection is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including KML Collection.
Now enjoy KML Collection on PC.

Works great, be sure to choose kml NOT kml as the export!

For those having issues, I think you didn’t choose the app as the export (it is an option when exporting from google maps). At first I didn’t choose the app and couldn’t import. Once I went back and choose the correct option in mymaps it was easy! This app is something google should allow themselves!
Import not working. Running iOS 12

Simple clean interface but Import doesn’t work. To bad as I like the simplicity of the app and I paid for the pro version. If it gets fixed I would rate it higher. Need an app that can import the app files that I backed up from Google.
