1. The Aviation Corrosion Challenge application uses a gaming scenario with score-based challenges to help Sailors and other users identify the types, forms, and characteristics of aircraft corrosion.

2. Using photographs and texts, the game randomly generates elements associated with corrosion control, including types of corrosion, corrosion effects on alloys, aircraft cleaning, corrosion preventative compounds, and sealants.

3. Based on NAVAIR Instruction 01-1A-509 1-4, the app provides visual identification of corrosion, information on methods for removing and treating corrosion, and information on the materials used in corrosion prevention.

4. The Aviation Corrosion Challenge app is comprehensive, easy to use and offers public content only -- no authentication/authorization required.

5. The app also includes an achievement section that unlocks trophies when various levels of points are reached or the user completes specific challenges.
