1. Point your camera at a hill, village, lake or landmark and Horizon Explorer will tell you what you are looking at, how far away it is, and show you a map, and information about the point you're aiming at.

2. Tracking works best on top of a hill with an unobstructed view of your surroundings (close up trees, buildings, rocks etc.

3. Fly up high and see the terrain laid out below you to see what is over the hills around you, and get the lay of the land, then see the scale-model 3D map that you can walk around & explore to find out what's behind hills, or investigate up close.

Install Horizon Explorer app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Horizon Explorer on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Horizon Explorer"
The search will reveal the Horizon Explorer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Horizon Explorer is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Horizon Explorer.
Now enjoy Horizon Explorer on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Horizon Explorer Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Horizon Explorer,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Horizon Explorer" » then Click "Install".
- Horizon Explorer will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
