1. The touch area of the device is working as a kill switch so you can produce these talking synth sound.

2. You can control the range of the synth by adjusting the light sensitivity, but the app is not working in dark environments.

3. The pitch of the oscillators is controlled by moving your hand in the air without touching the device.

4. The tonal range is 2 and a half octaves and you can play in legato and staccato mode.

5. The hand is tracked by the front face camera.

6. The algorithm behind was made by me on the second Music Hakathon in Sofia.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "neo Drone"
The search will reveal the neo Drone - virtual theremin app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once neo Drone is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including neo Drone.
Now enjoy neo Drone on PC.
