What is Girls Frontline Game? And why you'll love it

If you're looking to play a new game on your mobile device and you have no ideas on what to go for, you should try the Girl's Frontline game. It's a Mica Team designed game in which every player becomes a recently appointed commander in a company and performs different listed tasks

What this means is in Girls' Frontline,  you become the boss and are in charge of a private company for the military. You have a couple of functions to carry out and you'll have mini soldiers at your disposal to help you carry out these tasks. These activities sound interesting and actually are if you're into having adventures whether in real life or in games.

The name of the private company you're in charge of is Grifon and Kryuger and your mini soldiers are called the Tactical Dolls or the T-Dolls. They are far advanced androids that help you to carry out your required tasks as the CEO and you can send them out to perform different functions. Infact, you can even divide them into different groups.

The story of the game is interesting but only you can truly decide that. Imagine being the number one person in a company. You know nothing about how to run it, but you have tools and minions that answer to you and are ready to take your orders. This definitely requires some practice to get used to what and what not to do so you and your team can start succeeding in your tasks.

The story is pretty straight to the point in comparison to some other similar games. It doesn't have a lot of nuances to it as you will get the gist in no time but it definitely requires that you play a couple of times to become a better commander.

  • Fun and can be addictive but...

    By Hdhahebdnsksbfb (Pcmac user)

This may be a tad wordy and I apologize in advance for that. Let me just start by saying, even though her artwork is censored, I’ll touch on that later, M1 Garand is my favorite girl and top gun waifu. Very cute, much PING! xD Now for the actual review. GF is a really fun game and I’ve sunk a surprising amount of hours into it as I tend to avoid most mobile games. I’ve even spent money on it which I’m not to proud of but that’s with any game I play so don’t take that to heart developers. I can say however, after seeing some of the comparisons between the English artwork and the original artwork, that the censorship does annoy me a tad. That being said it doesn’t annoy me enough to completely trash the game as some do because I can understand the developers worries for the most part. The gameplay, which is really the only thing that matters, is still solid and the game is still fun. It’s doesn’t feel heavily P2W and though you may have to grind it’s not awful imo. I do however agree with the idea of making the uncensored artwork an optional choice for those who want it either by a free download like the voice pact or even by a paywall, as long as the price isn’t too high devs. Well that’s it. If you’re a potential downloader reading this I thank you for taking the time to read my review and I do suggest you still give GF a shot. If you’re the developers reading this I again say thanks for making this fun little game available where I live.
  • Really Good! Ignore Censorship Drama

    By Velocity-Void~Fang❕ (Pcmac user)

The game has little to flaws, mainly its server being later on releases, but that is to be expected of a off region game that is converted to english form. There are tons of players who whine and salt over censorship, but the censored version actually looks way better. People will always complain and the uncensored versions (you can google) are just more provocative versions of damage drawings. This game is so much more than dumbing it down to the average half naked ‘waifu’ it creates a really fun realm of strategy combat. Devs also have the themes censored because they can violate legal things like some underaged guns (hi otaku pedos). There is an amazing story of battle machines and the combat is engaging with buffs strats and the urge to collect better tier guns. Most of it is f2p you don’t need to pay to win. There is a dorm function and friend system allowing some personality into each player’s room. Can get grindy, but you unlock better rewards. Honestly, play it, ignore the drama on seeing naked anime the app and enjoy collecting your favourite guns! PS: You can marry your gun, and multiple marriages!
  • Fun but unrewarding

    By backscrtch (Pcmac user)

I’ve been playing this app since almost the launch and a throughly enjoy it. Nice artwork, interesting story, and good voice acting. This game is a really good game with genuine effort put into it but the gameplay it’s self is so unrewarding. After getting through the early levels of your t-dolls you begin to hit a brick wall where it can take an hour+ just to get one level. It takes way to long to level characters and I understand that if leveling went to quickly the game would like play time but there has to be a middle ground. The amount of exp need from 100+ somewhat ridiculous. Literally taking 1 hour 45 minutes to get 3/4 of a level. There’s also a few bugs in planning mode where you echelon would seem to teleport or a error message saying illegal action detected or after fighting one enemy the echelon would stop moving and you can’t click on anything forcing you the restart the game. Also the login screen has a bug where the loading thing will stay after it’s loaded and you have to restart the game or the loading will freeze and you have to restart and relogin (this bug has been here for numerous months now). Besides that it’s a pretty good game. ^^
  • Not off to a good start...

    By SUP£RW££DMAN (Pcmac user)

So just seen this app on a website where new apps drop everyday and this one caught my eye because it recently dropped acouple of hours ago, so i decided to download and give it a try, to my surprise as soon as it downloaded and i started the app i got asked to download some kind of update in the game menu that took about 5 min to finish downloading, well ok i can’t complain since usually all updates are a great way to fix bugs and other certain issues with the app, so after the download was up im pumped up and ready to see what the game has in store, as i press the main menu screen again to proceed into the game it starts loading up and outta nowhere a pop up message appears saying its “under server maintenance” with a date and time saying until the may 8th 20:00 utc-8, so whats the point of releasing the game just acouple hours ago if its in need of a server maintenance already, sheesh thanks for that now im not in the mood to even give this a game a try. Update: also after making this review went to go check again and it asked me yet AGAIN to download yet ANOTHER small update which took acouple seconds but still what a bad way to start of a release, oh and of course still under server maintenance.
