What is Sengled Home?

Sengled Home is a smart home control app that allows users to manage and monitor their Sengled smart products. It provides an integrated mobile app that enables users to control their smart products remotely, customize automatic control systems based on personal habits, and monitor power consumption. The app also offers features such as color and temperature control, room arrangement and grouping, motion sensor integration, scheduling, and light effects.

Software Features and Description

1. With easy set-up, Sengled Home is able to quickly connect your smart products to the Internet, implement real-time communication between your cell phone and household devices through the cloud platform, and achieve remote controlling and monitoring.

2. Sengled smart LED lights with built-in motion sensor can not only push notifications for any motion event, but also setup actions after detecting motion events.

3. Sengled Home is a residential smart-products management platform, which provides you with an integrated mobile app to control, manage and monitor your Sengled smart products.

4. Either 1 foot away from your Sengled smart device, or 10,000 miles away from your home, as long as you have internet, you can control or check the status of your devices.

5. Sleep schedule will control the Sengled smart LED bulbs in night light for delayed dimming.

6. Sengled smart door sensor can also be used to link with your smart LED lights for event triggered actions.

7. Sengled smart LED bulbs can be programmed for gradual brightening and wake you up with lights naturally.

8. Sengled Home is the latest smart home control app that replaces the earlier version -- Element Home.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

Excellent product as standalone smart bulbs

Not expensive in comparison with a regular LED bulb. One hub can hook up like 60 bulbs! We have them everywhere possible in our home. It made our LR inset ceiling lights so much more functional! They were on 3 switches before, 3 on 2 switches and one on its own. Essentially, they are each on their own switch NOW. BUT/AND, you can group your bulbs, and that is what we did. Our bulbs are now dimmable (sp.?) each or as a whole group, or selected, all with their own dimming slider. Great for turning lights on before you walk in the house, or when going to bed. I don’t even have to reach over to turn my nightstand lights off. the app, I look forward to your development of new bulbs (CANDLEABRA please).
HATE THE LOADING SCREEN WHEN U OPEN THE APP

I have no complaints other then how long the app takes to load... the little animation of the lightbulb, a thing that looks like a badge, then almost a remote or iPod..... where it rotates back and forth of those animations.... like I’ll be coming home for the day or leaving for the day... and I have two lightbulbs and two strips set up.... and with how long it takes for me to open the app, wait for the animation to pass for me to only THEN FINALLY get to the button to turn them all off or on? Like it would be quicker to turn all 4 sets of lights off/on.... so it’s like what’s the point of the app besides changing the color or brightness? When it should also be for “ease of use”.

The app has been improved significantly (I have v1.1.22). I really like the new routines tab. I now have several wake up times saved, so I just switch to an earlier or later one as my schedule changes. The widget is great for quickly changing scenes when skies get cloudy or for turning everything on or off. I haven’t setup new bulbs in many months but everything works, even after my house loses power. Wifi hub starts up and works with no help from me. I’d like to see more advanced feature improvements, like better integration with other apps and IFTTT. I’d like the wake up time to adjust with my alarm app. Weather and sunset triggers with IFTTT are available but not very flexible. Lights should turn on at different times relative to sunset and depending on things that block sunlight, like clouds, mountains, buildings, etc.

Now I understand why it gets poor reviews here. It works at the beginning, however, I constantly get messages saying bulbs lost connection. Today, I have spent more than 1 hr to try to get bulbs reconnected again, however, still not working. Will try again and may need to call customer service
