1. Plain Text Copy strips the text you copy of all formatting (font, font size, bold/italics/underline, etc.) leaving you with a plain text to paste.

2. Simply add the Plain Text Copy action and use it whenever you want to copy a text without the formatting.

3. Select a text and tap Share... Tap More and enable Plain Text Copy.

4. Finally, tap Plain Text Copy to copy the text without any formatting.

5. Usually, all we want is the actual content - not the Comic Sans font - when we copy a text.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Plain Text Copy on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Plain Text Copy"
The search will reveal the Plain Text Copy app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Plain Text Copy is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Plain Text Copy.
Now enjoy Plain Text Copy on PC.

App works as intended

I just bought this on an iPhone 8+ running iOS 12.1. I am in no way affiliated with the developer; I found this app by searching on the App Store with no one referring me to it. It’s as the subject says - the app works as the description says. I wanted to make this review to let others know there really is nothing wrong. This isn’t a conventional app where you tap to open it, and you interact with the app; instead, the **guts** of the app are hidden in the share option. You need to enable it the first time you’re using it (I believe the instructions for that are in the “app” itself), and once you see the app icon in the share menu, you’re all set. To the developers, maybe one way to further help users understand is to provide the instructions in a way that’s more upfront. Have a sample text that’s all formatted, with some empty text box where the user can try pasting the text. Make the text box open to any and all formatting like the stock Notes app.
