Download and install the Google Clips app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Google Clips on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Google Clips"
- The search will reveal the Google Clips app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Google Clips is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Google Clips.

- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Google Clips:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Google Clips" » Click "Install" to install Google Clips
- Google Clips will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Really frustrating

When it works, the app Clio is not too bad. But
Narrative clip is about 100x better in general than the app clip.
But most of the time this app doesn’t work at all.
Even worse- it eats photos
I have 2 narrAtive and 2 clips.
this app app regularly loses the camera and then proceeds to reset - Lösung all your photos.
Not good.
Narrative again is like 100 times better, it’s small it’s not painted a weird color it has sound it’s unobtrusive quality is awesome it’s not spying on you got a great cloud service, the only problem about narrative
that I occasionally lose them! And at 2:50 a pop that’s a problem.
I tried the app clip and I got it as a back up but really?

I’ll probably list them on eBay before they get totally obsolete
When I even lost the little clip plastic cover and tried to call the app and get a replacement part and they just

Latest version wants to update the firmware. Fails ever time. No matter what I do. Reinstalled the app. Set up the camera again with factory defaults, etc.

Stuck on updating

Update bricked my camera. Error found in doing the firmware update, and factory reset won’t help.
