  • Amazing!

    By wkfink (Pcmac user)

Just started climbing a couple months ago, and the thought of keeping a log book for the gym sounded tedious. The tie-in with the watch to provide an idea for activity, combined with the ability to log sessions, is amazing. One thing I’d like to see is being able to switch from bouldering to top-roping, as my gym has autobelays that make switching from bouldering to top-roping extremely quick. In between sets of boulder problems, I usually get in a nice easy route like a 5.7/5.8. It’s certainly helped my endurance, and would be nice to be able to log that without having to end and begin sessions. Even without that, it’s still a 5-Star app!
  • Keep the good work

    By giopilli1 (Pcmac user)

Good app - I started using it and it feels good. However a couple of improvements would be good: 1. There is now easy way to mark if I was successful in flashing or on-sight or failed a climber from the widget. I need to end the workout and then add notes to it and mark the individual climbs. It would be good as I come down I could mark the climb somehow. 2 the app track timing overall but it doesn’t track time of the climb itself making difficult to understand how much endurance workout have you actually accomplished in lead or top roping - ideally I would like to tap the widget at the beginning of the climb and at the end of the climb and separate rest time from climbing time 3. It would be good if this app would be compatible with other sport watches and heart rate monitors outside the Apple Watch. I use Garmin and their heart rate monitor which records on the apple health but not on your app. Keep up the excellent work and let me know if I am missing something related to this feedback- Best
  • Functional and easy to use, could do more with data though

    By JTsoccer41 (Pcmac user)

This app works well, looks good, and is intuitive. I do think there is room for improvement however, particularly in the statistics / data section. As is, I don’t think the app is making full use of the user data available for a given profile. Additional graphs and charts could be really helpful, potentially something along the lines of: average max grade over time (average top 3 per session), double column bar chart showing % tried and % completed by grade, ability to filter out grades (v0, v1, etc) from charts. The app Gneiss has some interesting climbing visuals that could be worth getting inspiration from. All in all good app though!
  • Close to perfect! Please don’t add bloat!

    By Utahfreeskier (Pcmac user)

I tried a few other climbing apps, and this one is by far my favorite. Please keep the app simple and don’t add unnecessary features that will bloat the experience! I actually don’t think I need to know my total vertical feet climbed - especially for bouldering. If you did add it, I’d like the option to turn it off because it’s just not accurate enough to be useful and I feel like it clutters things up. Some sort of “score” that estimates my skill level would be really cool to see on a graph over time.
