Ruins video till I figured it out

I was trying to crop a video that was shot vertical and edited in iMovie for Instagram TV. I try to crop it in this app and the result is garbage. It makes the video all blurry and squeezes in additional black on both sides. If you pick color and then zoom in the video to where it would go then it works okay.
Don’t Buy!
