Install my TEXAS WIC app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using my TEXAS WIC on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "my TEXAS WIC"
- The search will reveal the my TEXAS WIC app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once my TEXAS WIC is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including my TEXAS WIC.
- Now enjoy my TEXAS WIC on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use my TEXAS WIC,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "my TEXAS WIC" » then Click "Install".
- my TEXAS WIC will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Doesn’t allow to login after creating

This needs attention. The app doesn’t allow to log on at no time. I’m still finding myself having to stand in line to get the app balance on the app card. Very frustrating. I had hope for this app!!

Doesn’t work

App has been downloaded but doesn’t work. Won’t allow me to register.
Once it finally allowed me to register, the app says it could take 5-7 days to update but it hasn’t updated almost 3 weeks later.

Scan feature is so helpful!

This app is super helpful. It shows you the benefits you have left for the month which you can then add to your shopping list. From your shopping list, you can look at the shopping guide which shows the WIC approved products. Alternatively, you can simply use the scanner feature (conveniently available from every tab of the app in the top right corner) to make sure the product you grabbed is approved. Big stress reliever. I see some other reviewers say they couldn’t sign in. Hopefully they are working on a fix for that, but I had no issues signing in, and once you do get it in it’s a great app!

It’s ok buuuuut

I downloaded the app & I registered & used it once & it made the app wic shopping soooo much easier buuuuuuut that’s the only time I got to use the app because now it won’t let me log in to the app account. It keeps saying that it can’t connect to the server or something but the app internet is fine. The app is great & I love the idea of it. Please fix this.
Wic is already stressful to shop for.
