- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using WCAX WEATHER on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "WCAX WEATHER"
- The search will reveal the WCAX WEATHER - app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once WCAX WEATHER is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including WCAX WEATHER.

- Installing WCAX WEATHER:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "WCAX WEATHER" » Click "Install" to install WCAX WEATHER -
- WCAX WEATHER - will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Updated and Worse

Just updated today after days of annoying alerts to the new update. They've deleted Canada, including Newfoundland, and cities such as Marathon, NV. So, two of my 12 locations are now unavailable. I'm sure others will find more. Even worse, while I can continue to use the older, better version, I have to see 'there's an update' BS alert every time I open it up. Avoid the 'improved' crappy update at all costs.
It's so typical that So many Apps become worse with each new iteration.

Prior app worked much better

The bug keeping it from switching from portrait to landscape mode when you turn your device is BACK with the new update. What gives, you programmers? This is an EASY fix!
The new update is terrible overall. The list of faults is long:
The radar image cannot go full screen.
Distracting background photo image.
Slow to load.
Initial radar image too small.
Not intuitive in changing modes/display.
Have to click too many times to get the display one wants.
Commercial ad too large.
App title serves no purpose and occupies too much of the screen.
The original app from 2+ years ago is vastly superior.
If you want a quick radar lookup and better functionality, try MyRadar. I’ve given up on this app.

Great weather app!

This app is great! I’ve been struggling to find a weather app that gives me what I want and not what I don’t. This fits most of my needs.
It’s a little slow to launch but delivers. Not too many ads and does well on my location.

A step or two backward

Map is now very dark, almost black, since latest update. More ads. One ad covers half of the hour's weather report, making it difficult or impossible to read. And they say the updates are to improve the app and make bug fixes while they do just the opposite. Maybe it's time to look for a different weather app.
