Install Splashtop SOS app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Splashtop SOS on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Splashtop SOS"
- The search will reveal the Splashtop SOS app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Splashtop SOS is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Splashtop SOS.
- Now enjoy Splashtop SOS on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Splashtop SOS,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Splashtop SOS" » then Click "Install".
- Splashtop SOS will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This only works in portrait mode.
The Idevice sharing the “screen recording” session needs to rotate the device so that it is usable ate all.
You have absolutely no control over what is happening on the screen, as you would expect. Instead you have to get the client to rotate their screen until things are right-side up and then you most talk them into doing everything because you have no control remotely.
Very disappointed in this implementation as before it was usable and now, not so much.
