  • APA app obtaining information

    By Ed captian (Pcmac user)

Looking for information is not as easy using the new app . Signing up for tournaments is more difficult. Navigation through the app is more difficult & contains less information. Printing scoresheets is easier but obtaining stats for captions to properly match up takes more time. Navigation through the app is slower as well. Not an improvement from my point of view. One would think the league would make as easy as possible for players to sign up for events, just as easy as renewing membership. It would make individuals wonder where the focus of the business is. A point of view from a member with over 500 matches played, plays multiple tournaments every year, captained numerous teams & still captain of one & co-captain of another. It appears the the app is geared to new players and getting them sign up and more difficult for long term members to get necessary information.
  • App Use

    By Riders302 (Pcmac user)

I have been a division rep in the the app for around 9 years and in multiple divisions. It is more difficult to use the app than it was the website. I like some things better than the website. I think 1 area that could use some major improvement is trying to look up past players. I’ve had multiple teams call me to add a player the night of the match and want to know what his skill level is. I can find that player and see how many matches they played in both formats and what their overall record is but it doesn’t show skill level anywhere. I think that information is important and should be added. I could find that info on website. There is no reason I shouldn’t be able to find it on the app. Thank you.
  • More stats

By Mr PapaGiorgio In RI (Pcmac user)

As the app has developed over the years the functionality has improved significantly. Now it’s time to step up the stats. I would love to know how I have played against a certain player. Or maybe see a line chart of my win % over the past five years. This is an older game (at least in my area). To get these millennials interested this app needs to be the way to get them hooked. Chat features, ability to link a photo or video to a score or match. That functionality can use this app to get the younger generation involved.
  • Rating app

    By RoperRoy (Pcmac user)

I find this app somewhat difficult to navigate and lacking in information. Information that I would like to see but cannot find is as follows: 1. Player skill levels. Some players are a 6, some 8, etc. Even though we don’t use separate skill levels in our Masters league I would still like this information to be available since we had to submit a skill level number to the league when we signed up to play. 2. Total games (not matches) each individual has won and lost. (Total match records are already shown). Important because total games won determines which team wins the match. 3. A player’s record against each opponent the player has played. For example, one of our players has lost only one match; who beat him? 4. NAVIGATION. Having trouble sending this review. Crazy. Roy L.
