USMLE-Rx functions

- Qmax: The app provides access to thousands of high-yield Step 1 questions, images, and explanations. Users can quiz themselves in multiple test modes with different question types and get detailed performance stats. All tests sync to the cloud for immediate access on any device.

- Rx Bricks: The app offers nearly 800 high-yield, patient-centered eLearning modules that cover "need-to-know" topics succinctly explained with simple "clear language" explanations, often in under 20 minutes. Each module includes clinical correlations, real-world stories, memorable mnemonics, and more. Users can assess their understanding with measurable objectives, interactive flashcards, and practice questions built into each module.

- Flash Facts: The app provides over 14,000 flashcards that are truly integrated with First Aid for the USMLE Step 1. Case-based flashcards put basic science concepts in a clinical context, and Study Stream uses spaced repetition to give users flashcards based on their own study schedule as well as their strengths and weaknesses. Daily reporting helps users track their progress, and all cards and progress sync to the cloud for immediate access on any connected device. Flashcards are searchable by organ system, discipline, and topic.

- Express Videos: The app offers over 80 hours of high-yield videos, over 1,300 videos in all, with 600+ images, helpful diagrams, and multimedia clips. Integrations across multiple topics form strong, lasting connections to help users in class and on test day. Each video features students clearly explaining a concept from First Aid, helping users learn faster.

  • Frustratingly unreliable

    By MMMMSSS11 (Pcmac user)

Paid for a one month subscription to try out your service before my end of year exam. Not only does your service go down the day before my final and I can’t log into my account, but it goes down in the middle of a practice test. On top of that the error I get says “We can’t connect to your device right now, please try again” so I tried for over an hour to get it working again thinking that it was an error on my part. My computer or wifi or something. What it should have said was “Our service is down right now, please try again later” Or it should just be much more reliable. This is after having several issues staying connected during practice tests as well. Not only am I mad that I wasted my money on a month subscription but I will definitely not be renewing and will be advising all that I can to stay away.
  • Great potential but frustrating

    By Flav T (Pcmac user)

Such a great idea to have all the quizzes and Qmax question along with the first aid book. As a de gal student studying for CBSE I love the extra information and not just going through the book alone. However so frustrating: 1. Why is your website sooo battery draining. If I use your website every day it will destroy my Mac battery within months. So I have to use app on my iPad 1. No way to access text on this. Is it so hard to have the little excerpts go with each video? 2. Why is there no way to speed up the videos on iPad? It’s not that hard to build that into the app 3. Why is there no way on desktop or app to access first aid as a whole? I don’t want to be confined to the one section and I know I can click to another but I should be able to see entire book. There’s already a PDF for that. Why don’t you guys include that with the app? I love the UMSLE-RX info wise but it’s so difficult to use and it’s so frustrating cause I almost paid half a grand for a 2 year subscription and I shouldn’t have to deal with that. I would literally give a 5 star rating if not for those 4 problems I outlined
  • Feedback

    By Kkaloti (Pcmac user)

Would like option of FA browse on app. I submit fair amount of feedback on desktop version but seems pointless because the only people who ever respond are non-tech and they have no interest that the font size buttons don’t work on certain pages, or video cuts off in mid topic and seems to have been posted that way, and other tech issues. And in Browse mode thumbs up/down not available, so any feedback goes to non tech. So despite asking for feedback to help improve software, seems more a waste of time than useful for anyone.
  • Great app

    By Mdjabdheunsndhu (Pcmac user)

I love the app and the ability to do flashcards on the go while reviewing what I might missed on a digital First Aid 2019 that opens directly on the areas that I forget while doing the flashcards. I don’t use the app in solving Q/As though as I feel sitting on a computer and doing it like the real deal is better in preparing for the exam, but I like that I have the option to do the questions on my phone.
