  • Worse than useless

    By PaperPurger (Pcmac user)

It took me 10 min to download the app over the store’s jenky WiFi, create an account. load my address, phone, credit cards—everything but my ssn. And in the end, the coupons you search in the app—if you can even find them, because they aren’t searchable among the hundreds of coupons in random order—can’t be used at the register. This caused the line to back up with irritated people behind me. The manager came over to try to fix it. She couldn’t find the coupons either. So after 10 more minutes they sent someone back to verify my claim about the coupons. 5 more minutes and he came back to confirm I was right. The manager, also annoyed, just gave me the stupid $3 without using the coupons. She explained that the app never has the current digital coupons so I should just log in online. In other words, she advised me not to use this app that wasted 1/2 hour of my time, her time, the checkout clerk, the people behind me in line... Worse than useless. It’s actually a burden. Don’t download or set up an account.
  • Slow App, Not Up to Date Inventory

    By Jen123987 (Pcmac user)

I do not recommend this app. The app is slow, spinning every time you search for a new item to add to the cart, often taking several minutes to find one item. You cannot read nutritional information for many items, or zoom in on the images of the boxes. The app also indicated that the store would text or call if swaps were necessary. I did not find this was the case. My latest pickup had eight swaps, which is not surprising given the Covid-19 situation. Some of the swaps were foods my family would eat, but others were not. For example, I ordered corn tortillas, but was swapped flour tortillas. For most people, this is fine. But I have celiac disease and cannot eat flour. I was expecting to be able to navigate this kind of situation with texts with the shopper, but that’s not what happened. I would highly recommend the app be updated to reflect the current workload of the stores, and not advertise that texting will take place when they are not staffed to do so.
  • Worked Like a Charm!

By Le Voyageur 2 (Pcmac user)

I was skeptical to download the app based on the reviews but so glad I took a chance. I would rate it a 4.5 since I did encounter a glitch but rounded up to a 5 stars because it delivered the end result. I created my account, was able to order my items, and my groceries were ready for pick up at the designated time. There was a glitch at one point during my ordering but once I went into the shopping cart and refreshed, it appeared to fix the problem. One item to consider is that it does take a moment for all items to load when searching (depends on internet/data speed?). Another item that is not necessarily app related is that not all cities allow for alcohol to be purchased through the app (it appears to be restricted by city or village).
  • Hit or Miss

Depending on the day of the week you order or the store, your experience could be very convenient with pleasant staff or horrible with rude incompetent staff. I’ve ordered Clicklist 4 times, and 3 times out of 4 was excellent. Unfortunately, the bad experience I had has made me never want to use it again. I went on a Sunday night between 5:30p-6p pickup time. Arrived at 5:30p and called when I got to the parking spot by 5:30p. Called and was hung up on, asked if I’d received a call saying it would be late (I didn’t), and after an hour, I went into the store and told them I had to leave. They rolled their eyes, said they “would try” to page a manager, and that the order was “still being shopped”. It was a terrible experience and made it so that we won’t use it again.
