Lion brand fail

Well this is a big bummer. I re-downloaded this app thinking it saved all my patterns I favorited since I bought a new iPhone. One of which I was in the middle of, but had put down months ago since the birth of my twins. Now that they're a little older I have time to finish my unfinished projects. And poof! All my saved patterns are gone, and it's only a list of classes I have to pay for. Big fail the app brand. Very disappointed right now. If you want people to use your yarn, it might be a good idea to have the patterns they can reference while in a store shopping for your yarn. I have no idea how to finish this baby afghan and I was about 3/4 way through.
Great app for finding/registering for classes

This app is ONLY for finding and registering for classes at the studio in NYC. You have to go to the website if you’re looking for yarn or patterns. But I love the way it’s organized into different types of classes, and registering is super easy. There’s also a description of each class and who the teacher is. The only thing I would like to see is a calendar with upcoming classes so that those of us who live out of town can plan our visits. 😁

I used and loved the old the app Brand app which had the yarns, patterns, and favorites on it that could be used no matter where you lived. I frequently used it to reference a pattern on the go or help choose yarns while shopping. Now it seems it only has class listings that are available at the NY store. Being on the other end of the US that is hardly useful. I'm still hoping they'll expand the app to include some of the information it used to have, in the meantime I guess I'm out of luck.
What happened to all the patterns??

I used this app for all the wonderful patterns, that were cute and easily searchable - you could specify exactly what you wanted, and make something great with it. Now this app has ditched the patterns completely and gone for classes that you have to pay for? I used and loved this app because I wanted something to make with my knitting and crochet skills - not to try to be sold stuff I already know. If you want to include classes that clearly nobody wants, fine. But bring the patterns back!!
