PROJECT NURSERY MONITOR for Pc

Good camera and good quality video. I’m glad the new model has a built in battery in the camera so it can be placed in different rooms without the hassle of being tethered to an outlet. I also like that it is WiFi compatible and able to view live streams remotely. But I’m experiencing a few abnormalities. First thing I’d like to mention is that the time on the camera is not synching with the parent monitor nor through the app in the “camera time set” option (it is ahead by about 8 hours). Secondly, the pan/tilt features are reversed. When I swipe left, the camera turns to the right. Same goes for up and down-swipe up and it’ll tilt down. And lastly I’d like to address the picture/video record feature. I was surprised and I also appreciated that the camera came with its own memory card (most electronics do not provide external memory card and the majority of them say “sold separately”). So, when I try to take a snapshot of my baby or attempt to record a video clip, it states “Save Failed”. I looked up the manual and there it says to format the memory card, which I did to no avail. Are these frequent complaints about this monitor? If so, are there any updates that would resolve these problems? Or is it something that could easily be fixed? I tried looking online for answers but came up short with any answers or solutions.

I used this religiously when we would have friends over I would turn it on and have my daughters door closed so the noise wouldn’t get to her. My sister is sick and I need to leave the house for something. My child is asleep and I just want my sister to be able to hear her because she doesn’t want to be in my babies room coughing and wake her up. But now THERES NO CAMERAS CONNECTED?!?! Seriously the one time I NEED this app to work you’re telling me there is no camera connected? Not only that but when trying to setup different users so other people can watch her, it was a freaking hassle and proved to be quite difficult. I also like the idea of tapping in when I’m away but MAN I can’t get over this not having my camera even though I scanned it and like 3 DIFFERENT devices are just spinning in circles not adding anything WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG AND WHY IS THIS A HASSLE. This is supposed to be for the safety of my child and clearly it’s failing. Buy another product because they clearly dgaf about this app.

I’m in bed at 6am wondering if my baby’s doing ok. I’ve been trying to connect to the camera since midnight (Off and on). Some days we have zero issues. Some days it refuses to connect. It’s highly frustrating and I wish I could say it’s the WiFi. It isn’t. It’s either the way the camera connects to the WiFi or the way the app connects to the camera. Something is off and that’s unfortunate considering the cost. This item is supposed to give a parent peace of mind and yet I lay here awake and going back and forth with whether I go open his door and risk waking him or keep trying the camera. Also, the app crashes every night. It will NOT stay on no matter what I do. So if you’re planning to use this as a sound monitor to know if baby’s awake, don’t count on it working.

Camera quality is great, but the app interface feels dated. Also, the video aspect ratio on the portrait view needs to be fixed, the image is stretched on my 7+. I spoke with customer support and they claimed this was “not a bug.” I then asked that she still pass my request to fix this on to the developers. A few days later she said that the developers had no plans to fix the issue since “99% of users won’t notice.” I’m not sure if they are just lazy or if I’m the only person who is bothered by this. For $250 I expect the proper aspect ratio and better service. I hope the developers can address this issue and update the feel of the app to something a little more modern. Then it would be a 5 star product.
