1. والمقدمة الجزرية هي منظومة في تجويد الكلمات القرآنية، لشيخ القراء في زمانه الشيخ العلامة محمد بن محمد بن محمد بن علي بن يوسف الجزري الدمشقي المتوفي سنة (833 هـ) - رحمه الله تعالى -، وقد سماها: «المقدِّمة فيما يجب على قارئ القرآن أن يعلمه».

2. - وهذه المنظومة المباركة قد جرت عادة القرَّاء في شتَّى البلاد على الاعتناء بها؛ تلاوةً وشرحاً وحفظاً وتحفيظاً.
