Realm Defense for Pc

I rated this 5 stars because I enjoy playing this game very much and I see no huge flaws yet. The only thing that I think needs buffing is the elixir mine(s). I think that it should generate way quicker. It would be helpful if it generated quicker so I could level up my hero’s faster. Whilst on the topic of hero’s, I need to complain a little about the rate you gain cards for your hero’s to level up(the non elixir route aka the grind route). I’m only just starting out so I don’t know if this changes later in the game but, you gain like 1-15 cards for year hero’s to level per 3 star win. It sounds like a lot at first but when you need thousands it’s nothing. I think they should buff this rate too. Not too much but maybe like 30-45 cards for hero’s per 3 star win. Once again, I don’t know for sure if this changes post-game. Other than those minor things this game is very fun and addictive. Personally I really like how the more stars you get the more you can upgrade your towers. Anyways, this game is very unique, fun, and all around enjoyable to play. I recommend this game 10/10!!!

This is one of the best free tower games! However, everything stops once you reach the end of world 3...this is where I feel the game falls short and becomes a cash cow. 1) it takes forever to earn free gems (30 daily login non stop + extras will earn you 2000+ gems a month with each decent heroes costing 6000+. It will take 3-4months of daily play to buy a medium rank hero). 2) forced to micromanage EVERYTHING what you buy/use early on 3) tournaments are pointless once you reach gold rank since you will be under leveled. You stay idle until you spend gems to upgrade heroes so you can compete with other players who have max heroes. There should be an up/down league ranking system to earn more gems so we can qualify to earn more free gems 4) since you’re underleveled and and can’t finish harder overpowering levels the game will crash consistently. There is ZERO recovery. If you wasted items on a level and game crashes then all items used are lost leaving you in the negative and starting over from beginning 5) The only remedy to all these problems is to buy gems. As a freebie player you’ll need lots of patience, time and Gems so you can level up, unlock or buy better expensive heroes. This is really a great game with lots of potential but once you reach midway you’re stuck and everything becomes a repetitive grind for free gems.

Overall as far as good tower defense games go I really enjoy playing this! Although it’s not my favorite type of TD (i prefer ones you build mazes with your towers) Got it when it only had one world and have been playing every now and again since! Never needed to spend any money on it and have all but one hero that was just released and this is a really good game with constant updates and support. The team working on this game has been fantastic and constantly delivered! Only thing I have a complaint about is the balancing of hero’s. There’s really no point to using more than half of the hero’s because the balancing is just really bad (although they are the cheap ones) the new hero’s typically are always better than any old ones even though the abilities are vastly different. They Need to work on how to balance some things so that certain hero’s actually give you a strategy. Why waste time on the awaking tokens for older hero’s? When the new hero’s cost the same amount of gems basically and automatically are better. This is apparent in the tournament mode where you can see everyone in the top 10 uses the same hero set.

This is by far one of my favorite games. I used to be so bored in study hall because eventually the no-internet app games get old. When I started playing this I was surprised by how fast time went by. I play it in my free time too now and love it especially because of the heroes you can get that really add to the tower defense basis. I don’t spend any real money on items or heroes and find that it is still just as fun. If you take the time to work at the levels and level up your heroes, try new strategies, and check the box for what other people suggested then it’s no problem. No money needed. I am a bit over halfway through world 2 so maybe I might change my view on not spending money later on when it gets harder or I have to unlock other worlds but for now I love this game a lot and I still will even if I need to spend some money eventually. You can always get heroes for gems and right now I don’t see them cornering me into buying something with real money which is great. Also it doesn’t inundate me with ads which is another plus. Five stars, no doubt.
