What is Treadmill Smart Speed?

Treadmill Smart Speed is an app that allows you to communicate your treadmill running speed from your iPhone or Apple Watch to a receiving device using Bluetooth communication protocols. It offers three different speed input options, including selecting the speed on the app, using the iPhone's motion sensor, or using the Apple Watch to send speed, cadence, and heart rate data. The app also integrates with the Health App on your iPhone to contribute to your activity rings.

Software Features and Description

1. The Watch will send Speed, Cadence and Heart Rate via your phone and transmit these to your bluetooth receiver.

2. Treadmill Smart Speed is design to communicate your Treadmill Running Speed from you iPhone or Watch to a receiving devices.

3. • TSS Watch Module - requires an Apple Watch to calculate Heart Rate, Cadence and Speed data.

4. The iPhone's motion sensor will estimate your speed and transmit this to your bluetooth receiver.

This just works. Way better than a foot pod and easy to use while running. My sanity while running on the the app has been restored.

Easiest way to go from the app speed to immersive apps like Zwift. It works and it s the simplest approach.
More then just Zwift

I downloaded this for Zwift however there was an unexpected side benefit. I have a nordictrack X9i, good the app, but horrible software and customer service (don’t buy anything from icon fitness). Anyway, when this is running it will not only broadcast your Heat rate to Zwift it will broadcast it to iFit, the the app, also. The app creator should advertise this as Zwift. All though knowing nordictrack if they would disable it in the next firmware update. The app is 5 stars all the way.
