  • Favorite calendar app for Mac

    By bsdjunkie (Pcmac user)

I really like this app! Especially the drop-down interface for the menu bar. It’s very handy to see a concise graphical representation of the month and the upcoming events and meetings. My favorite part is the graphical design of the app. It looks really nice. I was for a time torn between this app and Fantasitcal, however I am glad I decided to stay with this app. I do use Fantastical on my iOS devices, however. I do like those apps. They just seem to quickly grow old since I feel like I am looking at the same thing every day whereas with BusiCal - it seems to be changing and changeable. Like life. I also broke down and bought BusyContacts. Although I do like that app, I would never be happy until I had both apps paired together. Maybe you will like it as much as I do?
  • This is the calendar for the visually inclined

By The Logic Stick (Pcmac user)

Oh, goodness, so much happiness to find a calendar that makes for a very visual experience. Want to see scroilling weeks instead of one month at a time? No problem! Want a handy pop up to tell you what month you're in while scrolling? Also, no problem! So many thoughtful little gems make this a great experience. It also is made for those who have to juggle calendars from several sources, including google. This app understands that if a calendar is *shared* with you, you will probably want to *see* it as part of your list. This is the only app I could find that accomplished that without jumping through hoops or trudging through pages of settings. Brava!
  • So much better than Apple's Calendar

    By mmmmisha (Pcmac user)

I've been using the BusyMac suite of this app and BusyContacts for years now and feel they deserve an upate. These programs work seamlessly with iCloud and offer features that simply don't exist in Apple's native apps. (I'm not sure why BusyContacts isn't coming up on the App Store but I highly recommend it as a basic CRM app.) In addition to these being well-developed apps, I want to mention the excellent tech support offered by the developer. I usually get a response by email within 24 hours and they have never failed to figure out the problem and provide a solution on the rare occasions when I've had an issue. 5 stars all the way!
  • It’s OK. But it’s missing a few things

    By SMaclean (Pcmac user)

It comes to Fantastical and this app. Fantastical has all the better integration with other apps on IOS and Mac, this app has the more open and complete presentation, specially on week and month views. Fantastical works, this app sort of works. this app IOS is missing some very important items like custom repet events (how can you be a business calendar and not have those?, While this app for Mac has almost everything…. So I feel liuke I have tomake events and function on fantastical but then I like the views of this app better…..but that’s two apps that combined cost 100 bucks.
