What is Al-Quran-ul-Kareem?

The Al-Quran-ul-Kareem Application is a mobile app developed by the IT department of Dawat-e-Islami for iOS devices. It provides an easy and modern way to recite the Quran on mobile devices. The app contains complete Quran-e-Pak with a user-friendly interface and many features to make recitation of the Quran on mobile devices much easier and simpler.

Software Features and Description

1. By the blessings of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and sincere efforts put up by the IT Majlis of Dawat-e-Islami, global non-political movement for the preaching of Holy Quran and Sacred Sunnah, a glamorous mobile app namely “Al-Quran-ul-Kareem” has been developed.

2. Interface of the application is user friendly and it provides an easy and modern way to recite the Quran on Mobile system.

3. By clicking on this option user can share the application link via Gmail, Email, Skype and other social mediums.

4. This feature lets you keep listening the recitation of Holy Quran in background, even if you open any other program on the device.

5. Bookmarks can be easily added while reading any page of Quran by clicking on Book Mark Icon on the Top of the page.

6. The Holy Quran in the app contains 16 lines per page.

7. Being a guide to the humanity, the Holy Quran can, now, be recited through this application.

8. With the help of option “Go To Page#” user can find any desired/particular page.

9. It provides many features to make recitation of the Quran on Mobile devices much easier and simpler.

10. User will be able to resume the reciting from the page he left reciting in his previous login.

11. By clicking on this option user will be redirected to App Store where User can Rate this app.

Al-Quran-ul-Kareem functions

1) 16 Lines Per Page: The Holy Quran in the app contains 16 lines per page.

2) Para Index: 30 Paras Indexing with Page#

3) Surah Index: 114 Surahs Index with Page# (Separate icons have been used for Makki Surahs and Madani Surahs.)

4) Audio Quran: Now just by one click you can also listen to any Surah/Para of the Quran. By clicking on the play option, a particular Surah/Para will be downloaded. Once downloaded, the user can play and listen to that Surah/Parah any time.

5) Background Play Option: This feature lets you keep listening to the recitation of Holy Quran in the background, even if you open any other program on the device.

6) Search Option: With the help of option “Go To Page#” user can find any desired/particular page.

7) Book Mark Screen: List of Bookmarks will be shown in this section. Bookmarks can be easily added while reading any page of Quran by clicking on Book Mark Icon on the Top of the page.

8) Resume: User will be able to resume the reciting from the page he left reciting in his previous login.

9) Rate Us: By clicking on this option user will be redirected to App Store where User can Rate this app.

Assalam o Alikum. Great work Allah apko jaza de Ameen. I have some suggestion that should be in one app 1- please add tarjima of quran 2- add a function of prayer times in this app. Not develop individual apps just add in this app 3-please add feature of tasbeeh and duas 4- please add islamic calendar. Allah apko apki koshih per jazaye khair de. Ameen!

The rotating issue

I’ve used this app on android for a quite long time, but on iPhone this does not rotate, and it’s difficult to read Quran. I don’t have any issue with my eyes, but when reading Quran. It takes my eye to focus carefully, and sometimes I make zer zabar mistakes!
