✔ Pros:

- The oceans puzzle set is particularly enjoyable.

- The patterned backgrounds can make it difficult to see the puzzle pieces.

- The app does not offer pastel solid backgrounds, which would be helpful for users with poor eyesight.

- Pinch to zoom functionality is not available.

- Some puzzle sets, such as the Australian winter/summer set, cannot be purchased and may have technical issues.

Calming and slightly addictive

I love the puzzles because when I feel anxious I take a break and start a puzzle. It seems to have a calming effect and at other times when I find one like the succulent plants or animal pics, I want to finish before I get into anything else. This is the reason for the term slightly addictive. I'm not fond of the patterned backgrounds. Sometimes the puzzle appears to be the background, not easy to see. Really need pastel solid backgrounds, as well as the originals. Also, for those that don't know, when pieces get behind the tray, just work the puzzle as far as you can. Then hit the top left of the puzzle to go back to the menu (or maybe you could change the arrow to back or menu), then tap on tray and it will move out of the way and you can finish your puzzle. Hope this helps.......good luck and thanks for the fun.

*UPDATE* So, apparently there IS a way to lock the puzzle in place while working it. The problem is my old iPod. My 3rd Gen. won't download the version with all the fancy shmancy bells and whistles. I still love this puzzle game and look forward to playing it on a better system someday. Enjoyable and fairly simple game. I wish there was a way to lock the puzzle in place while working it. It can get a bit annoying to have your puzzle move every time you place a piece. I really like this the app puzzle app. I may even buy more packs. And I never spend money on Internet games.

I still love these puzzles but there is a set (Australian winter/summer) that won't allow me to purchase.... What is wrong with that game and can it be fixed ? MamaB This set of puzzles is lovely and I really enjoy all the oceans! But on the Sunshine Coast there was one puzzle that would not play -- frustrating. The only complaint I have is that I find the backgrounds distracting. I would love A completely neutral option. Otherwise, thanks for some great down time relaxation! One more thought, is there a way to tell us what image the photo is of? I would love to find out more about the places in the images.... Thanks again!

I really enjoy this app. If I could offer one developer suggestion. Offer a variable background with solid colors. My sight isn't so good, so being able to see the contrast of the puzzle piece to the background would help. Oh, and one more thing. If you could pinch to zoom it would be great too! Thanks Thanks for the response! It's really an awesome game!
