The NYC Express Bus app is a fast and easy way to book your express ride to New York City. 1. The NYC Express pick up will be from Terminals B, C and D, with direct service into Grand Central Terminal and Times Square (42nd st between 5th & 6th, same block as Bryant Park).

2. The NYC Express bus picks up only from Terminals 1, 2, 4, and 8 to Grand Central Terminal and Times Square (42nd st between 5th & 6th, same block as Bryant Park).

3. The NYC Express bus departs only from Grand Central Terminal to all terminals at JFK Airport.

4. The NYC Express bus departs only from Grand Central Terminal to all terminals at LGA Airport.

5. Travelers arriving at other Terminals will need to use the free monorail service to Terminal 1, 4 or Terminal 8 to access the express bus service.

Bus agent would not take my app purchased ticket

I purchased a ticket using the app, received an email confirmation with a ticket number and my credit card was charged. I was even given a $1.90 promotional discount for using the app to buy my ticket. When I gave the ticket number to the bus agent he told me he could not find it in his computer and that I needed to buy a second ticket. Terrible experience, very stressful and annoying. Customer service was somewhat helpful but I did have to wait on hold for 5 minutes, talk to 2 people and in the meantime I had to purchase a second ticket to travel.
Super buggy app doesn’t work half the time

It’s almost not worth trying to buy a ticket on this app because it doesn’t work half the time. I like the service to the airport. It’s comfortable and a third the price of an Uber to LaGuardia. I’ve never had a problem getting on even on thanksgiving eve (it’s not possible to reserve a specific bus, just the day, but it doesn’t seem necessary).

I usually will always take the app airporter. It is cheaper to use app to purchase and print rather than waiting on line to pay to the bus driver. Also it is more faster. I recommend it.
