  • Finally !!!

By The L.M.$. crew (Pcmac user)

I’m so happy with this app now. I’ve had a the app since the beginning, and was pretty disappointed with all the limitations ,inabilities, incompatibilities, bugs, disconnects, resolution quality and how painfully long it would take to connect. I had given up on the the app and it sat in a drawer for 3 years, replaced by FireSticks & Smart TVs. Recently I bought a new Tv and it had the app built into it..... it was still rather unimpressive and had some of the same (slightly improved) issues. It had me connecting via Google Home app. Which also fell short, but then I noticed an update on Streaming for the app app, and gave it a shot...WOW, I could not believe it, finally!! Finally nailed it, totally redesigned the app, and it includes everything that I know it has been capable of all along. Screencast, browser cast, photo roll cast, camera cast, app cast, music cast. Etc. and it all just simply works. Amazing quality and speed, all in one app. So relieved that I can show a video from my iphone on my tv now in seconds rather waiting and hoping it would connect and buffer before everyone in the room lost interest.. And I dug out that old the app and hooked it back up to the bedroom tv, it is like having a brand new device now. Thank you!!
  • Worst piece of tech...ever

    By Lipstick lezza (Pcmac user)

This is unquestionably the biggest waste of money I’ve experienced in the last 5 yrs. the connection is so inconsistent and unreliable that it makes the system unusable. While trying to watch and cast Netflix from my phone or iPad the ‘cast’ button in the top left corner only appears about 50% of the time. On the odd occasion that the button DOES appear about 50% of THAT time it seems to try to connect and then gleefully informs me that connection was unsuccessful, and to “please try again later”. Later? LATER?! I don’t want to watch Brooklyn 99 LATER I want to watch it NOW. You know, while I’m NOT at work, and how this whole digital ‘on demand’ way of watching TV has been sold to us for the last decade. The only reason I’m writing this review is because I’m sat, bored, in my otherwise quiet living room because I CAN’T CONNECT TO MY the app!! Who knows, maybe my device is defective or my WiFi internet isn’t powerful enough to use it. The fact is it’s pretty much useless and I’ll be throwing it, hard, into my outside bin. That’s right, I’m going to bypass the inside bin and stand 20 feet away from the bin outside and hurl my CrapCast with all my might at the bin, in the hope that it shatters into a million pieces so when I put subsequent rubbish in the bin I won’t have to gaze upon its wretched, non-functioning form.
  • Chromecast for everyone

By Traps 326 friends (Pcmac user)

Not gonna read you the manual or try & convince why you would need a streaming bluetooth device to share your new phone features or media on your TV. We all learned the hard way about going out and purchasing the latest electronic gadgets only to realize we overpaid for a bug filled inferior product that has no use to us or anyone in the following years to come. Well it’s nice to be wrong once in a while & the the app is definitely proving that point to us pessimistic people. Kind of a polite awakening how some things that come in small packages & are affordable from the get go can actually hold value & still be very useful years later to us or a friend who could relive the new gadget experience. It’s a no risk purchase that does everything it says +more. Should be standard everywhere DVI inputs are used. A simple to learn & daily used product children to the elderly can all rely on. Get yourself one or a few as memorable gifts for friends.
  • Impossible to unsubscribe to this paid app.?!

    By Gbourck (Pcmac user)

It’s typically easy to stop subscribing to an app service. I went for the free trial (30 days) since you must in order to try it. I immediately went to unsubscribe, and there’s no place it will let me!! And they have no email support to interact with them. It’s like they will get a minimum of one subscription out of you by locking out the cancel feature. Note to Developer: I have a problem but there seems to be NO way to contact you.?? I simply added your app a couple weeks ago, and HAD to subscribe, but I really can’t use it and want to cancel the subscription, before that 30 days is up. Under my apple subscriptions it simply says $0.00 and no spot to cancel?? Very difficult to reach you folks... need email support. Please email me at address I had to leave on your forced Facebook contact method and tell me how to drop this app? Very painful experience just to drop an app. Feels like a trap actually so I don’t want to even try other products you have which do sound interesting. Please help. I don’t even know how I get a reply from you.
