If you want to install and use the Facetune2: Selfie Editor & Cam app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Facetune2: Selfie Editor & Cam for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Facetune2: Selfie Editor & Cam for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Facetune2: Selfie Editor & Cam in the search bar and press Search. Click on Facetune2: Selfie Editor & Cam application icon. A window of Facetune2: Selfie Editor & Cam on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Facetune2: Selfie Editor & Cam icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: Facetune2: Selfie Editor & Cam for Mac OS

So I understand why they changed the app so much, this is like a quick fix for those who don’t know how to edit. You can basically run any pic through this and use the features that automatically target certain features of your face. But this leads to the fakest looking edits. People come out looking like wax figures. And the color pallet is dramatically reduced. For a monthly subscription it’s not worth it. Reply to developer response: your original app did all of the same things for those who knew how to use it. FT2 is as I said great for new editors. There’s not a lot of technical knowledge needed. But you really need to come out with a professional level app. Something that allows editors with experience working with shadows and playing with lighting and textures to get really high detail results. There’s a certain level of realism that can be kept while doing very dramatic editing that can be achieved with the slider. I like your app, it’s helped me get almost 10k followers on my editing of page. But I think combining your already great FT1 app with some more professional grade options wouldn’t alienate the editors with experience. I like the interface you guys use a lot more than photoshop which is why I chose you guys to begin with, but I really like photoshops detail oriented functionality.

Seems like more and more developers are jumping in on the monthly/yearly Feed-Me payment method which benefits them and not the user especially when one adds up all the $2 here and $3 there that get billed each month. Unless one uses the software package heavily, the cost is rarely worth it. For this user, this package is way over-priced especially when one can get the much more powerful Photoshop and Lightroom combo for $10 a month. This reviewer tried this app on an iPad. Where the free edits are nice, many of the VIP edits are basic features that are provided in other apps that cost much less. The unique distortion features are easily overblown and seldom look genuine. Again there are much better programs for this that cost the same. Thanks for the freebies. A few might be nice if needed, since the app can be used as a secondary editor to cheaper full-featured editors. But the nags to upgrade are so annoying that this user simply deleted the app and will stick with the rarely used version 1. Based on comparable software, a $6 one-time upgrade might be worth it. As it is, this is one subscription that is best left alone.

If you are here that means you are interested in editing your photos. Great! This app is the first app I star up when I am in my iPhone editing process. Although it has filters, that is not the main use for this app. To me, the main use in enhancing whatever features you wish!!! This app gives you the ultimate freedom to do literally whatever you what!! You want to make your feet look smaller or the trees in the back ground bigger? Done. Use the reshape tool. Do you want to brighten you teeth or even bring out the white tones in the picture? Done! Use the whitening tool. This app is so great and so versatile. I feel like it’s the first step to getting that perfect instagram ready edit! I don’t like the price. Ehhhh. But the features you get out of it are worth it. You are paying for a good quality, easy to use app. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I love this app. It is worth the money. And wow -- works perfectly 😃. If you have a annoying pimple in a selfie, just swipe it away. I also used this to edit my Maltese puppy 😂😂😂😂 I can even turn it into a meme if I want to. Also I would recommend doing a custom face alignment, so where I can drag the eyes where I want to in case I would like to edit other stuff, such as adding a glare do my dog's eyes. I love using this app other than just editing someone's face. Or, I can make someone skinnier by the reshape button 😂. I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND this app. If you don't like the price, get the free version (it still has almost all of the features). I never write reviews, but please get this app if you love to edit!!!! I am waiting for some more updates! Maybe some day, we can edit videos -- frame by frame maybe. Thanks for reading this. OVERALL, I LOVE THIS APP!!!!

My gripe isn’t with the function of Lightricks applications. By in large they are serviceable video and photo editing apps that work great in iOS. BUT let’s say you own a small business and want to use their software. If you use the core apps: Photofox for main photo editing, Videoleap for video editing, Quickshot for when you need to make a quick social media share, Facetune 2 for when you drank too much last night and Pixaloop for occasionally making posts more interesting... What would you guess it costs to use 5 mobile photo/video apps for a year? The answer is $336... $350 after taxes from the AppStore. (Per month: photofox $7, videoleap $7, pixaloop $4, quickshot $4, facetune 2 $6) For context access to all twenty of Adobe’s pro desktop and mobile applications plus 10TB of cloud storage is $599. (That includes the desktop versions of Premier Pro, Lightroom, XD, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, 3D Dimension, hell even Acrobat) If you assume $15 of that price is for the cloud storage that comes out to about $450 for a year of access to the things that are used to make Hollywood movies, photo spreads in magazines like GQ and Vogue, to design/build websites/marketing for Fortune 500 companies. The price is $600 because Adobe employs hundreds and hundreds of engineers and coding professionals and spends millions upon millions of dollars yearly in development. (This isn’t a plug for Adobe, I don’t have anything against adobe I just don’t use their products.) They’re simply the easiest example I could think of to illustrate how preposterous it is asking users of mobile software to pay $350 a year for access. This isn’t about being cheap. I’m not someone who downs any developer who attempts to make enough money to stay in business, I spend well over $100 every month on subscriptions to apps and software. I could see paying perhaps $15/month for access to Lightricks suite of mobile apps, $350 a year however is robbery plain and simple. I won’t name other developers who make apps that compete with Lightricks but they’re out there I promise.

I used to love this app but the past month or so I have been having issues. The main issue I have is when I go to take pictures my face reverts back to the original way it looks... dull. Especially when im trying to have plump lips and brighter eyes, it never wants to work.

  • Shadow feature not working!

So I usually love the Facetune 2 app, and paid good money for it. However, now all of a sudden when I try to fix my photo by using the shadow feature, it makes the image darker! Usually the shadow feature removes the dark shadows. What’s going on??? Not worth the money.
  • Awesome!!! Excellent!!!

First off I must say I normally don’t write reviews. This app I have paid for all the tools and the developer teams have been doing nothing but enhancing everything they can. This app is in my top 5 apps when I enhance pictures. You can enhance in so many ways from an elegance look to a funny, and excited look. It may take a few times to really get the hang of it, but once again the developers did it again with all the videos on how to use everything. This app is well worth the monies. I also use it to enhance pictures with multiple people.

App is getting better all the time (I’m a subscriber). Edit your selfie as naturally or (fake) as you desire! Change the background, color your eyes, reshape your face, change lighting—infinite things you can do. So much fun! Forget all the rest—just use Facetune 2!

  • Free App needing paid subscription

I didn’t even bother with the 3 day free trial since you need a paid subscription to use. What’s the point in the app being free if you can’t use it without a subscription? Deleted immediately.
