1. Becoming part of the counter culture in California, Ryan embarked on a journey to express himself in a film.

2. Grassroots California founder Ryan "Ruga" Connolly had a traditional upbringing in the suburbs of Detroit.

3. The company is made up of 20 amazing full-time staff, along with a large support system of friends and family.

4. He graduated from the University of Colorado, and then found himself in California to begin his adult career.

5. He initially joined the corporate hustle and bustle in real estate finance, only to find it wasn't for him.

6. With a little brainstorming and lots of help from friends, an idea grew into reality, and the seed for GRC was planted.

7. Years later, GRC designs a new hat nearly every day, with the continued focus on carrying only limited edition products.

8. This spring, GRC will be opening a brand new retail location in Denver and Chicago.

9. Recently, they have opened their first international pop-up store in Barcelona, Spain.

10. Funding his film was a daunting challenge.

11. His passion lied elsewhere, and a new direction was needed.

I order with the app all the time, looove their hats. However this app is garbage. I’ve tried to download it multiple times, but every time you launch it the app freaks out and won’t let you allow it to use your location, making it useless. Skip the app, order online. Here I am a year later after forgetting to hit send on this review. Same issue. Come on guys

This application will have you hitting the refresh button every 30 seconds. I woke up and my cat was on my phone took a look to see what ErrL (my cat) was doing and he was rockin it on the GRC app. Good job guys A+ app
