Download an Android emulator for PC:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SyncNotes"
The search will reveal the SyncNotes: Modern Text Editor app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SyncNotes is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SyncNotes.
Now enjoy SyncNotes on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SyncNotes,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SyncNotes" » then Click "Install".
- SyncNotes: Modern Text Editor will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

No way to synch notes to its own app folder

All notes just scatter all over the place within my Dropbox folder on my computer - this seems to be different with the paid this app+ version. However, it all does autosync, as of February 2018 on iOS 11, contrary to what another user wrote.
No folder choice

It seems to work fine with Dropbox but I couldn’t find the option of where I wanted it to store my notes in Dropbox when it syncs.
Meh -- need purchase version to open folders

This free version is mainly a demo. If you want to get into folders in Dropbox you have to get the paid version. From what I can see, for text editing, this app offers little beyond what the Dropbox app does.
