Others have said it, and I agree: this is a brilliantly concieved app. Simple and elegant - a pleasure to see and to use. I use it for notes, letters, memos and email. Now that lists are supported (thank you, Mihhail!) I use the app for outlining, too. the app won’t waste your screen space or your time with frivolous things, it just lets you get on with your writing. the app is a serious tool: but there is a marvelous element of whimsy mixed in: you willl see when you try it! I mean, how often does a “productivity” app make you smile? Mihhail has a vision of what he wants his app to be, but, I can tell you that if you have ideas or suggestions for him, then by all means contact him. He always responds and will listen, and help. It has been fun to watch this app grow with each of Mihhail’s “pleasant updates…” Cheers!

I really like this app. So clean and simple while still being powerful and functional enough to do everything I need. It jives with my minimalist mentality without forcing me to go absolutely barebones. Among my favorite features are Typewriter Mode, which keeps my text vertically centered so I never have to tilt my head to the bottom of my screen or readjust my window; and Focus Mode which keeps only my current paragraph or sentence (my choice) highlighted and fades everything else to grey. I have a couple of other apps that do these things but fail in other areas. I'm an OCD and nitpicky writer. I'm so glad I found the app. The cherry on top is the price! $9.99 for an app I can use (and enjoy!) every day? Some have complained about the price, but ten bucks is a steal. I hope others will also toss a tip in when they are able in order to keep the app in active development. Of course, if I have any issues, if they have not been addressed *after* reaching out to support, I will note them here. That said, if it just keeps doing what it does I should be happy. :)
Really great until it wasn't

I was obsessed with this writing application until my free trial ran out. It seemed too expensive to pay for simple differences when the whole point of the app is simplicity and not needing to back edits. But not being able to type on white the app and being permanently stuck in dark mode was depression and uninspiring, for the app, and for my writing. The number icon is less appealing, as the bright blue P in the white circle is what drew me into the clean simplicity of the app. I don’t know if I got accidently stuck on dark mode when the free-trial ran out, but I can’t get to the white the app - the “ignite your inspiration with a clean sheet of the app” was extinguished by a dark black piece of the app and frustration...
Extremely Well Designed

This is easily the best text/markdown editor I have ever used. I love that the app opens with nothing but a blank page and a cursor. No menu bars, no pages of text formatting options. You just write with no distractions. To the same effect, I really like the Typewriter and Focus modes which put what you’re writing in the center of the window and dim everything but the paragraph/sentence you’re working on. This app is packed with features, but still remains as simple as possible.
