What is Colt Express?

The Colt Express app is a digital version of the famous train robbery board game. Players can plot their scheme step by step and dive into the action to loot the wagons. The game can be played solo, with friends, family, and worldwide in multiplayer mode. The game features a wild west themed universe, tactical and action-packed gameplay, an extensive story mode, numerous exciting game variants, an online multiplayer mode, a worldwide leaderboard, a friend list, collectible skins and environments, and many achievements to accomplish.

Game Features and Description

1. At the beginning of the round, each player will successively plan an action from his action deck, ranging from moving around to luring the train marshal or looting the passengers.

2. Live the adventures of 6 outlaws in Story mode through 30 captivating chapters, each with its own plot, set of rules and achievements.

3. Plot your scheme step by step and dive into the action to loot the wagons.

4. When each player’s masterplan is complete, the action starts and the players' set of moves will progressively unfold before you.

Multiplayer needs updating

What really disappointed me was the multiplayer. I expected to be able to play with my friends locally, but a pass and play option has not been implemented yet. I can't play with them online either, since we can't add AI players to the game, and the server need to be full of human players (which is hard to do since not many people play this game online). I'm looking forward to the updates that implement these crucial features. Other than that, good gameplay, good visuals, decent AI, and the story mode was pretty enjoyable. The storytelling-through-comics was pretty nice.

I’ve had my eye on this app for a while and finally bought it. Not disappointed in the slightest! It’s a light but great deduction and bluffing game where you play cards to move between train cars and gather loot. You’ll also need to thwart off the other bandits by punching and shooting them. You’re constantly jockeying for position while avoiding the marshal too. I really enjoy it and might just buy the actual board game now. Well done, Asmodee.
A bit clunky

Sometimes it feels like the other characters are ganging up on you. I had the game freeze up once...had to leave for about a day. A little more explanation of the different types of games is needed. (Classic vs. Story)
Best Board Game on iPhone

This has to be the best app from a board game I've ever played. The concept is clever and the design is incredible. It's even fun when you lose because of how you watch everyone's moves play out. I play single player mode and enjoy it thoroughly. Great job, developers! All board game ports should be this well done.
