2. 12forward is an initiative from White Guide, the Stockholm-Copenhagen based restaurant guide that has been a major driver of the Nordic culinary evolution for more than a decade.

3. We will identify the truly cutting-edge eateries in the world’s most advanced culinary cities and outline the progress of gastronomy by explaining what these restaurants are creating.

4. The 12forward app lets you navigate “food forward” and keep up with innovative restaurant scenes around the globe.

5. The entries will be assessed according to White Guide’s 100 point score system.

6. We have engaged leading food writers worldwide to relentlessly test and review new entries to the scene.

7. They will identify each restaurant’s claim to fame; what’s really forward, the main reasons to go and what to look out for.

8. The lists will be continuously updated; a new entry will knock an older one off.

9. We will continuously add new cities and eventually cover 30-40 cities worldwide.
