WHAT HAPPENED?

After this last update, something has happened with the app for the app and Hand and Foot. The app won’t let me finish a game and many times not even a hand. At first I thought maybe my iPad needed to be rebooted so I tried that but even after three tries the app won’t let me finish a game. After completing a hand the screen automatically goes to my iPad’s home screen. When I click on the game, it will come up with the games home screen and the button to “resume” game is there but when I click on it the screen goes back to the iPad home screen. Sometimes if I click on a different game it will come up and the message asking if I want to resume to start a new game comes up. If I click that “resume” button it again goes back to the iPad home screen. The only way I can play the game then is to click “new game” but it will not let me finish a game or sometimes even a hand. Your the app and Hand and Foot games were my favorite games to play but now the app is so frustrating I don’t even want to play it anymore and I was at a level in the 100’s. Hope you can fix whatever has happened since this last update.

I grew up playing card games (i.e., Rummy, Gin, the app, Hand and Foot) so I was surprised to come across this app. I figured the app is free and if I don’t enjoy it I’ll delete it. I haven’t deleted it! Some negative reviews I read before downloading the app I now realize are probably sour grapes. If you’re a strategist the hardest level of the game are the most evenly matched. While playing the easier level your opponent may lay down occasionally without meeting point requirements or go out without having a meld. While a little disconcerting, it’s a free app. That being said that particular issue hasn’t occurred during the hardest levels of play. If I could change one thing about this app it would be to add bonus coins a player receives for beating their highest score or the apps highest score. Great little challenging app that’ll take you back to “the good old days.”

A wonderful game

I also played this game as a child. Always wondered if there was an app of the app. Found it several months, ago loaded it in my Fire Tablet. Now, the first thing I did was load it on to my first iPhone. I play it to relax & forget everything, else. For somebody who never chills out to don’t bother me now, it’s my time to chill. Thanks for developing a version of a childhood game.

It’s a fun game but may as well be solitaire. I also play gin rummy plus, which seems to be much more developed platform. I can play with people I know anytime. (I’ll pay for a private table, if it were available)
I’ve learned how to play the app now and constantly beat the computer, it’s getting boring..After winning you have an option to watch a commercial to double your XP points, but after playing this game for over 6 months, I still don’t know what XP points are. I’ve written to the developer and am still waiting for an answer.
