  • Great app, needs a zoom

    By Miz G (Pcmac user)

I really like this app a lot. I very much enjoy the food that I’ve ordered from cook unity and this app makes it so easy to make selections and to track my deliveries. One thing that would really make this app great so I could give it five stars would be the ability to zoom in on the pictures of the foods I am selecting. Or at least if the company provided close-up shots as second and third photos of the dishes that would be great as well.
  • Better, But Also Worse

    By DMCer (Pcmac user)

Added a couple stars back since we can now opt for the grid view and not horizontal (thank you). Still, more annoying changes than constructive, in my opinion: 1) The new packaging gets rid of the lids and instead uses a film. This is so incredibly annoying. While I appreciate the environmental impact, there are two big problems with this: Once you open the film, you can’t seal it again for transport to/from work or easy stacking. Second, the film is often already open when the meals arrive because of the weight from stacking them! I used to order extra meals and divide up the carbs in a pasta dish among the other meals, then re-cover them. Not any more. 2) Already missing the ability to edit orders before noon, or even the day before. I get same-day May be tough to plan, but please shorten the cutoff to at least the day before.
  • Food is great but app is frustrating

    By F Sza (Pcmac user)

I’ve been ordering for 3 weeks now. Every meal I’ve ordered so far has been better than what I would expect from a delivery service. A few meals specifically that I crave and want to reorder…so why does the app make it so difficult to reorder previous meals? There’s no option for it, you literally have to scroll through and hope that it pops up eventually. The wishlist function is practically useless because it doesn’t allow you to add that meal to your next order from the wishlist screen. I haven’t had the displeasure of encountering any bugs mentioned in other reviews but hopefully I never do. So much potential to be an all-around amazing experience but not there yet!
  • Good food, horrible packaging and delivery

    By Crash city123 (Pcmac user)

I’ve been with this app for 3 weeks and for each of the past two weeks, 3 of the 8 meals I ordered were leaking food contents upon delivery. Imagine the health issues with having meat, chicken, or fish juices sloshing around your package and soiling several meal boxes. It appears to me that this app has a defective packing process at several levels. First, the protective film that seals the meals has a margin of only a few millimeters, obviously not enough to withstand the physical stress of packing and shipping. And the other problem I note is their box sizing for orders of eight meals. The meals are packed so snugly in the box that they are compressed and as a result leak.
