  • A Broken Promise... And A Not-So Great Game

    By FrontoRonto (Pcmac user)

I don't want to say this is a 'Ayakashi Ghost Guild' sequel/reboot, but the company was originally going to reboot the game under Ayakashi. They didn't, but that doesn't give them an excuse to be a 'sub Carbon-Copy' of it. You either go exact, or you don't do it at all. They did a 'middle ground', and it shows. The summoning rates are actually nice as they give you a free summon everyday during lunch. However, they are still terrible and can get new players 'interest' and 'hopeless.' The Gameplay is boring and repetitive. I hate the 3D models. And I really don't want to 'tap tap' to play. (I'm not trying to compare to the Ayakashi Play style but I rather have that sort of battle then this.) The story is terrible. The characters are one-note and are the same throughout. The Art is sometimes decent, but usually, you can see they are trying. And it's only humans or a humanoid character... which cuts diversity and makes all the units look the same. Look, I wish Ayakashi was still here... and I don't mean this to be an 'I want Ayakashi back.' Sort of review, but This game is a carbon copy that does worse, and doesn't please old fans. (It's trying to be original, but it shows being both a copy and trying to be its own.) However, some things like the art, and the free summons are things that keep the game at a 1 star rating. I honestly hope some things will change... but I highly advise downloading or playing this game.
  • Great game but still needs improvements

    By Zelduhhh (Pcmac user)

I’ve been playing this game since launch so about 2 and 1/2 years. Like many others in the reviews I also played Ayakashi and as much as I loved that game this app is a different feeling. This game is slow paced and can be boring after awhile. The art is beautiful as always however I wish they had more artist. There is only about 4 artist that do 5* cards and I wish they would put out more artist to showcase their unique cards. The events are also very repetitive. I wish they had a variety of events besides the same 3 events. The upside is they do add new features to keep the game going and the team is very respectable and responds quickly to players. Overall it’s a good game but needs things to make it more enjoyable and less repetitive.
  • It’s great but needs a few improvements

    By momomorg224 (Pcmac user)

I had this for about 2 years but it’s awesome! Costumer support helped me get my game back once I got a new phone! The beginning is pretty cheesy though and my friends usually skip it once I introduce the game to them. Also it might be better if here was a better chance for 4 stars since I’m always getting 3 stars. But other than that it’s awesome
  • Incredibly disappointed

    By EpikalStorms (Pcmac user)

I loved AGG... so seeing this pale, pathetic copy with subpar game mechanics, art, and a half-assed storyline is highly upsetting. It’s as if they started out with the idea to reboot the AGG game, and then lost funding or something after the first phase and so released this... disappointment. Two stars instead of one because the gameplay isn’t actually too horrible, and there is some great art, and you can see they did try in some places, just... not in others, and not enough. I’m not trying to throw shade, but... I just don’t like it. It’s not fun to play. Keeping my fingers crossed that they actually buckle up and take this game to task to make it as fantastic as it’s got the potential to be.
