1. It is the combination of the mean solar time (which depends on the longitude at your current position), the time difference from the solar equation which changes over the year because of the ecliptic path of the earth around the sun and optional daylight saving in the summer.

2. This application shows the apparent solar time, the time you would see on a sundial at your current location.

3. That means the solar time at 12:00pm (noon) is the time of the highest sun position.

Install Solar Time app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Solar Time on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Solar Time"
The search will reveal the Solar Time app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Solar Time is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Solar Time.
Now enjoy Solar Time on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Solar Time Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Solar Time,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Solar Time" » then Click "Install".
- Solar Time will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
