1. "As a 3D Generalist Artist I utilise VFX HDR to prepare HDR images for my Workflow inside Maya with IBL (Image Based Lighting) in Mental Ray, Arnold or Dome Light in Redshift.

2. The VFX HDR for Ricoh Theta S is an app to prepare HDR (High Dynamic Range) images with different exposures and 360 degrees.

3. With VFX HDR you only need a Ricoh Theta S or above camera and a 3rd party app to join the images.

4. • 3rd Party apps are required to join the images and create and HDRi file.

5. • Mobile device has to be connected with Ricoh Theta S over WIFI network.

6. A very easy an inexpensive way to create HDR images.

7. Normally you need expensive professional cameras, a mirrored ball and a more detailed workflow.

8. • 13 or 5, 6 & 7 images captured with bracketing.

9. Adobe Photoshop or Picturenaut (freeware) for example.

10. • Automatic ISO, exposure compensation and Shutter Speed.

Install VFX HDR app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using VFX HDR on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "VFX HDR"
The search will reveal the VFX HDR app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once VFX HDR is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including VFX HDR.
Now enjoy VFX HDR on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native VFX HDR Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use VFX HDR,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "VFX HDR" » then Click "Install".
- VFX HDR will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
