Install Traeger app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Traeger on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Traeger"
The search will reveal the Traeger app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Traeger is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Traeger.
Now enjoy Traeger on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Traeger,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Traeger" » then Click "Install".
- Traeger will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

Useful for controlling my Traeger but could be improved

During my first overnight cook I somehow managed to hit the “keep warm” setting while keeping an eye on temps and never noticed it, this almost cost me my game day meal for the family. I thought the smoker was smoking but for at least 5 hours the grill was just keeping the meat warm. I think the keep it warm setting should be moved to the temperature scroll or at the very least require confirmation before setting the grill to warm. One other thing that I find disappointing is not having the ability to track the temperature through the cook. I use a cheap Bluetooth monitor and the app allows me to see the temperature and gives me a graph for the past several hours allowing me to know what the temps have been using a simple line graph. I thought for sure this app would do that, but unfortunately I will need to use another app + thermometer to track temps throughout the cook. So far these are the two features I feel that the app is missing.

I love having all the great recipes at my fingertips and I have marked many of them as favorites. However, if I try to view my favorites in an area with slow or no Internet, all I see is the spinning indicator on a white screen while it tries to sync with the server. Please change the app to display the locally cached favorites immediately and then sync in the background.
Cannot connect WiFi to app

This problem seems to be pervasive on this app support forums but it is a mystery why they cannot seem to address it with a fix. Maybe most this app users have androids which seem to work just fine. My pro 575 will not recognize my 2.4 WiFi even though signal is as strong as it can get. The app will even say it is using my home WiFi but the network name is blank. Tried multiple things per suggestions (turn cell data off, flip into airport mode and back, delete & reinstall app...nothing). App is almost useless to me without connecting to grill via WiFi.

Good Day this app Nation. What is with everything on the app????? Nothing will load and all the recipes are gone!!! Been having issues with my favorites list on my app as well! Need to have this up and running before thanksgiving!!!!! PLEASE! Thanks for all the help in keeping the app rolling and BBQ on!
