LG Tone & Talk for Pc

Bought a the app Tone Ultra and one of the “features” is that it works with the Tone & Talk app. It even has the product name in the app name! Go to open the app, says my headset isn’t compatible. Huh? Talked to customer service and they said ‘some of the features may not be available on Apple devices’ which I responded with the fact that it doesn’t even connect, let alone have some features not work as it won’t even talk to it. Fix this the app! You’re better than this! There are plenty of headsets out there that work better than these and have apps that actually work rather than false advertisement. Bought this headset thinking I’d get more features with the app, but instead I’ll be returning it and getting something else. Listen to all of us, fix your app and fix your thinking that it’s just a small issue that doesn’t deserve any attention. We’re stuck with those small issues and we deserve to have a working product as advertised.

Nothing I hate more than an empty promise by a corporation. Deciding factor for the headphones I purchased was that the app appeared to have added some functionality since the last set of tones I owned a few years back. Those were great but after they died I went with beats and they recently died. Anyway, I decided I’d give these new tone pros a shot since they seemed even better. Get them out and realize to use some of the functionality you need to download an app according the manual. “That’s fine.” Download the app. “The device that’s trying to connect isn’t supported”. What? How does your manual day use this app? And how does your packaging suggest that there are these features but then there isn’t. I am assuming they are adding functionality as they go but that is a bad move as a company. As a tech company you can’t release stuff that halfway works. Are we back in the days of charge before use or something crazy? Get your crap together the app.

It’s been a couple years now and not all the the app tones can be used with this app even though the box they come in says they are. How many more years will it take to fix this issue I love the tones I have bought several over the years but I have not had one yet to work with this app. Like come on the app get it together. It’s been years and still not all work on here or at least none of the ones I have bought. How many more do I have to get till I find one that does. Now when the first pair came out there was a different app and it worked like a charm then as new ones came out a new app came out and it all went down hill. Very disappointed cause I can’t get the whole the app tones experience with out a functioning app. Fix it

I just bought the the app HBS-1100 (Tone Platinum) headset and it works with this app. This app works with the 1100, however, the headset was $199 not including tax (ouch!). I might use the voice memo part of the app but not the date and time feature as I have an Apple Watch Series 3. It will be interesting to see how the phone and app works when I get a phone call. Seeing that it’s a free app, I can’t expect much out of this app. What I find more important is the the app headset itself. I had the HBS-910 and bought the HBS-1100 (Tone Platinum). I am a HUGE fan of the the app headsets. I was in the market for new earbuds and tried numerous other brands but came back to the app. I tried the new $300 Bose earbuds, JBL earbuds, Apple AirPods, and BeatsX earbuds. Although some of the other earbuds might have a slight advantage of sound quality (though I think the the app’s are just as good), the volume of the earbuds is hands down the best I’ve tried both now and in the past. I want to be able to hear what I’m listening to when I’m outside or in a very noisy/loud environment and the the app brand is the only one that I’ve been happy with. Personally, I would give the app a 1 and the earbuds a 5 so I went in the middle with a 3.
