May fix pictures, but needs fixing first...
By GlobalRoamer (Pcmac user)
The extension crashes repeatedly, and using it is non-intuitive (as a long-time - and quite intuitive! - computer user, that is based on experience, not noviceness…). I’ve tried different modes, but there’s no real explanation of what works how, the help guide is not any help either. Trial an error is difficult, because things happen in real time, which means you get a half-distorted image before you’ve done “fixing” it, and the effects are sometimes unexpected (two photos layered over one another, for example) and sometimes impossible - the extension is unable to save or edit a photo. I’ve worked with de-skewing tools in other apps (especially in iOS) and they are far simpler and easier to use - a cropping tool that allows you to position each corner independently. And if you’re not cropping the excess, then at least, plese, allow me to place the points and then correct the image!
And why is it necessary to actively select the tool you will most frequently use (and are even recommended to use!), the “from/origin” selection frame. C’mon fellows!
Usage tip: If you’re cropping - do that first, then deskew.

Constantly crashes and poor interface
By Fundog (Pcmac user)
I had hoped that this would work like the iPhone FrontView app, which allows pictures taken at an angle (such as in an art gallery) to be easiliy squared up by selecting the corners. Or the more cumbersome Photoshop Elements image/transform/skew. Unfortunately, the interface for this app is very clunky in comparison. If you want to square up a picture, you have to jiggle with four corners, and there’s no grid to assure that your lines are horizontal and vertical. Sometimes a corner is out of range and ungrabbable. And the result is goofy. Remnants of the pictures frame still remain at funny angles. Worse, the app constantly crashes. Unusable.

Version 1.5.1 Seems to work well
By ccampj (Pcmac user)
I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews. But they were a couple years old and it looks like the app has been updated since then. The version I used today worked well and didn't crash. I've been looking for an app like this for a while that has an extension for Photos. Crazy that Apple doesn't include a deskew feature in Photos, but thankfully developers like this one fill the gap.
