What is Day R Survival?

Day R is a post-apocalyptic survival game set in the USSR of the 1980s. The game is available both online and offline and offers a multiplayer mode for online play with friends. The player's objective is to find their family in the vast territory of the post-apocalyptic USSR, facing hunger, radiation, diseases, injuries, and bloodthirsty enemies. The game offers a realistic world with changing seasons, a huge map of the USSR, and more than 2,700 different towns and cities. Best Game Out There!!

I'm going to be honest with you. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME! It's so fun and I have been addicted to it for about a month. Love the feel of the game and it's hardcore game mechanics, but even with all that I was wondering if a few things could be added? Right now I'm I've built my base near the survivor camp closest to Ufa, and I've been farming to level up my skills. One problem I've stumbled upon a lot is... gas. Yes gas, one of the most common items in the game. Like right now I'm using a UAZ and I've tried to look for gas everywhere but I'm forced to leave it for a bike that I have just in case. So I feel like you be able to build like some type of pump that would get gas for you but you have to synthesize it with something else to actually get gasoline and it should require either blacksmithing, chemistry or survival or even learn how to build it from some quest. Same with machine oil juts have some pump synthesize it and BOOM machine oil and gasoline (or even diesel) for all your vehicle needs. Sorry this is super long but I felt I should address but otherwise love it and everyone who has made it this for I hope you have (or had) as much fun as I do!

I going to start out with this, I am a veteran this app player, and have been with them from start, and had gone through all of the updates. I was proud to say that this game kept getting better and better, as you could see in my former review. Then this "update" happened. You totally reconstructed crafting, sleeping, experience, and many other things. I would say, probably along with many other veteran players, that you have practically made a new game. Everything I loved about the old version is gone, and the game became 50% harder, even on easy mode. I'm not trying to totally slam y'all, because I do like some of the new features, such as resting, searching, and a few other things. The one biggest thing y'all did is how radiation doesn't decrease when out of its areas. That's stupid and not even realistic, and is impossible for newer players to get it to go away, red wine and vodka don't grow on trees in this game! I ask you devs, please, please bring some of the older aspects of the game. You had such a gem of a game, and I have not given up all hope on it just yet...

this app is the most amazing and immersive survival game I have ever played. For me, I liked it better than DayZ. The creators found a way to perfectly balance everything. I find myself trying to find food and water quite a bit. But, once I find a source of water, it lasts for in game months. I have 0 complaints. FLIPPIN' ZERO COMPLAINTS!! This game sometimes doesn't even seem like a game. In a good way. It is THAT immersive. I would recommend this game to anyone of my friends. It has some bits of many different game types. It has some level up features, it has a lot of survival features (you have to make sure your poison, radiation, hunger, thirst, or sleepiness stats aren't too high), and it has a good story. Without spoilers, basically, you wake up in a destroyed city with no memory. Then, you try to survive. All in all, the best app on the App Store. I have been playing for a couple months, and have still not completed it. There is so much content! I have a four year old iPad and it doesn't lag. Surprisingly, because there is so much to do and so much you can do.
My thoughts on this game

I got this game earlier this year (about 6-7 months ago) and it was fun. The UI was unique and there was much to do. I pretty much focused on better armor, weapons, and vehicles. The way to craft is great. The only reason I uninstalled it was because the fuel. Last I checked there was no way to craft fuel, the only way to get it was either to buy it (not too expensive) or get it from gas stations, which were mostly east where the enemies were more difficult. The stations weren’t enough to keep my ZIL-30 on the go. I would go from my cabin that was a little north east of Moscow and go on major supply runs each the app. I could go a few weeks on the fuel I bought until the first major UI update. I tried getting used to it which didn’t take long, but the fuel changed. I could go 4x less the distance in my ZIL on a full tank. This made me bring more fuel, then I had less space. Sorry about my rambling but if you get the chance, set up just north east of Moscow to avoid bigger enemies, the worst being irradiated mountain lions. But a Mosin takes care of them well. If they add a makeshift fuel system I might give it 5 stars and re-download
