I used to love this game! It used to be good! It USED to not crash every five seconds even though I am playing on an iPad Mini 4! All my other games don’t crash on my new device. Whenever I just walk around, I end up battling something or whatever, and then after I finish it, it just crashes and deletes some of my progress. Very disappointed, as said in the title. I got stuck somewhere I had already gone to (because it’s kinda like a maze in the game world) and I was trying to go back, because instead of being in the Kelso Desert place or something I think I got stuck in Pearl Town and ended up going in circles and then getting stuck where I am now. One of the routes or something I don’t know. The game is very frustrating most of the time because I don’t know how or why all these spelling or grammar errors got into the game. And the most frustrating part? If you don’t remember to go to settings and save every five seconds it will delete your progress. I made this mistake several times and ended up losing all the dragons I caught. This is also how my Hydronite has gotten farther and farther away from evolving. So, just PLEASE fix this game! I am sorry if I sound demanding, I am just very annoyed! I continually have these same problems again and again, yet no update to fix them!

So this is what became of Dragon Vita? I liked the simplicity of Dragon Vita and I had every Dragon, but the devs abandoned the cute dragon-breeding game turned it into yet another lame mobile Pokémon ripoff. . . What a shame. I gave "the app" a try, just for fun, because I missed my dragons -- but this is not fun in any way. The graphics and trainer customizations are nice, but the game is a poor and obvious knockoff of the Pokémon games, riddled with grammatical errors. The worst part is the absolutely outrageous amount of un-skippable 30 second video ads that pop up constantly during gameplay. I feel like I have to watch an ad every 10 seconds! You really can't play it for free; the devs appear as in-game avatars and beg you to buy the Premium "full" version for $2.99, or else be tortured by a deluge of ads. DO NOT buy the "Premium" version -- it is an incomplete game! They're pushing you to buy a game that isn't even finished! Absolute robbery… I wish the devs would just update Dragon Vita for newer devices and quit adding to this Pokémon disease that is infecting the App Store. News flash: Pokémon is dead. The new 3DS games are hideously bad, and Nintendo and GameFreak are laughingstocks. If you want to play the classic REAL Pokémon games, download a GBA emulator for your PC and play the Red/Blue/Yellow, Gold/Silver/Crystal, and Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald versions.

This game is fantastic and not to be mentioned it’s made by two people I don’t know how they did it but they deserve to have this game a official fan made Pokémon game and the best part about it is it is FREE and the ads don’t pop up too much so that’s even better or you could be a premium user and have ads disabled for the game and the game has a LOT to do and the quests in game make it more fun from having your starter the app to having a whole crew I think this game deserves more love then it currently has and one thing I’d change about this game is the moving controls I think should stay in the bottom corner and not move with your thumb because I have a hard time moving in game so if the developers are reading this could you please change it either way I’m giving this fantastic game a heck of a five stars you deserve it I’d play this game over the real Pokémon game trust me this game is fun you should install this game right now and try it out for yourself and I bet you this will be your new favorite game!❤️

So I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Being a 90’s kid who grew up watching and playing Pokémon, this game is fun for when I want to commit to grinding. So this game is basically a modern day Pokémon; but it’s brighter with way better graphics. You start off in your home town, and then you have to go to the professors house to choose your very first the app...sound familiar?? Yes there are ads, but you’d can just pay $3 and remove them, and it’s well worth it. If not, you’ll probably have 30 sec ads after just about every duel. But the game is definitely worth $3. Hopefully it isn’t a very short game though and the developers can come out with more versions. I’ve already defeated my first gym leader and earned a badge after a couple hours of playing. Captured quite a few monsters too. Excited a little, because back in the day I was never able to beat the elite 4 on Pokémon blue version, so this will kinda be like my revenge lol
