Needs background refresh
By Reviewer Me Too (Pcmac user)
This app will log charging & discharging times, but only if you activate the widget or app each time before plugging in or unplugging the lightening cable. In a way, it's a glorified manual stopwatch recorder. It will not log on/off times in the background. You have to remember each time to activate the app.
Plug in the phone, launch the widget. Unplug the phone, launch the widget. Forget to do it & the log will be wrong.
After trying to remember to do this for a few days and sometimes failing to do it, the time logs kinda get screwed up and become not very useful.
This app has some potential and would be much more useful if it could log in the background via an Internet connection. iOS makes background logging tricky, but there is another the app logging app available that will log the app SOC in the background.
With all that said, I still like this app within its limitations and find it useful, and will keep it on my phone. With diligence, I can record power activity times which can be useful for identifying the app usage trends.
