Lots of Fun-Room For Growth

This app is a lot of fun to use and create new versions of pictures/ photographs. It is not user friendly. There are no details provided explaining how to save completed sketches to your camera roll. It is up to the user to literally play with the app and spend time discovering the in/out of the app. It is a trial by error. This can become quite frustrating at times causing users to lose interest! Hence the 3
Stars.

App stopped working after upgrading to Pro

I really enjoyed the free version of this app, and I want to support indie developers, so I upgraded to Pro. Unfortunately, the app now crashes every time I open all images. The same images open fine in the free version. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my phone, and finally trying to contact support. The support web site is not functional. It looks like this app has been abandoned. 😩

Doesn’t work and zero support

I bought PencilSketch 1 for my iPhone 6+ and it worked fine. When I traded in for an X, PencilSketch quit working. I thought changing to PencilSketch 2 would solve the problem as it states it works for the iPhoneX. Nope. I sent an email a week ago asking for help. Silence. Sent another email a few days ago. Silence. I paid money for both Pro versions and neither work. Their support is anything but helpful. Do not expect any level of support for this app because it doesn’t exist.

Details, Block-In, Values, Composition

This application is quite helpful for both drawing and painting. It can eliminate superfluous details particularly with the the app mode. It can also help determine the block in areas particularly with goache. Then, of course, it demonstrates values with the oil mode. And by looking at these aspects one can visualize how to proceed with a composition derived from a photograph. All in all, this is an art educational tool. Make the most of it!
